Siren
Siren (a.k.a. Lady Siren, the Red Raven, Iris)
When the cannery shut down, the little neighborhood of Rickety Peak became a not-so-nice place to live, but now, ever since a Blue vampire moved in and turned the place into her den, the locals have been plagued by mysterious nightmares and a creeping paranoia about being watched. They report seeing a red-haired shadow in the mist, flickering lights and ghostly voices, expensive carriages coming and going from the abandoned strip club. Those that dare to follow up on these leads haven't found anything, but the dark aura about the place and certain people's missing memories are a sure sign of a psychic hunter stalking the town.
Siren is the mysterious leader of a small, fairly innocent street gang called the Ravens, which mostly deals in gossip and information. But there are rumors that the gang and its leader are somehow tied to some of the region's primary guilds and a recent string of high-profile murders.

- As a former half-elf, her ears come to a slight point.
Identifying Characteristics
Her bright red hair is what gives her the name Red Raven, and the thick white streak in it is fairly unique.

Like all Blue vampires, Siren is:
- exceptionally strong and quick
- able to sense and manipulate other's emotions with innate magic

Mental characteristics
Personal history
- Named Iris at birth, in 83 NZE
- Was surrendered to a The Greensoul orphanage, which was abusive and neglectful.
- She escaped the orphanage and found work washing dishes at a strip club, and learned to dance, though she was frequently homeless.
- Recruited into the The Shadowweavers in 99 NZE, at age sixteen, where Huntsman trained her as an assassin.
- In 105, she led the strike team to kill The Gilded Lady and ensure the Weaver's takeover of The Church of Gold
- As a reward for her success, she was turned into a vampire in 108, and is now considered among the Weavers' elite. She leads and helps to train the Weavers' assassins, while also serving as their informant in Third District. She has little to no memory of her life.
Gender Identity
All throughout her life as a mortal, she considered herself to be a woman. Now she falls under "shadegender," the Z'hratian term for an undead person whose gender was influenced by their death. Her psychic fusion with her agender master, Huntsman, has given her a sense of fluidity, and she'll occasionally refer to herself as nonbinary.
Sexuality
Siren is pansexual, and has sexual relationships with her polycule of lieutenants, and, on occasion, some of her targets.
Education
She is fairly intelligent, but her traditional Greensoul education, as a woman, mostly consisted of gardening, sewing, and caring for the community's younger children. As a result, she spent much of her life illiterate before Huntsman fast-tracked her through Basic school.
Employment
Siren has had a multitude of careers due to her time spent undercover as a spy and assassin. She has spent the most time as an exotic dancer, evangelist for the Greensoul, and barista. She dislikes her current position in management and wishes she was still working as an assassin herself.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- Many successful assassinations, including the Gilded Lady.
- Survived the transformation into a vampire.
- Successfully manages her own assassination and intelligence agency.
Mental Trauma
Death was a significant trauma. She still has nightmares about dying or having her mind forced into a different body.
Intellectual Characteristics
- Friendly and charming, skilled at making people feel at ease, even without her Blue magic. Has many friends, and her employees respect her.
- Cruel, likes to cause pain in others because pain is her favorite snack.
- Playful, likes games and jokes (sometimes at others' expense) and bets.
- Fairly intelligent and cunning, but easily bored by academia.
Morality & Philosophy
- Siren is loyal to her master and the Shadowweavers' guild above all else.
- All vampires have a drive to collect something, and for Siren, it's people- loyal friends and lovers.
Social
Contacts & Relations
The Z'hratian immortal community all know each other and keep tabs on each other. Currently, Siren is allied with Sister Juniper of the Greensoul, although the relationship is out of mutual political necessity, not trust or friendship.
She is also personal friends with the Gilded Heirophant of the Church of Gold, and Amethyst Dalziel, a wealthy casino owner.
Family Ties
She is a member of the vampire coven that leads the Weavers. Notable "family" members include Guildmaster Spider, Huntsman, and Recluse.
Social Aptitude
Siren is friendly and charming, and is very quick to make friends and put others at ease. She's playful, bubbly, and flirty, which most people enjoy, but it can quickly become terrifying when she's smiling and giggling on the job.
Wealth & Financial state
Due to being a specialist in a high-risk, in-demand field, she gets paid very well.
