Project Huracan

Formed by a colossal asteroid impact 66 million years ago, the Chicxulub crater holds a hidden secret coveted by humanity and The Carnax alike, albeit for different reasons.   Shaped like an enormous crystal, this celestial object possesses unimaginable power within its core. Upon detecting the immense energy signatures emanating from beneath the ocean depths, AEGIS swiftly constructed an offshore base of operations to investigate, extract, and harness the extraordinary potential of this artifact.   The Yucatan Anomaly Research facility, codenamed Project Huracan, is an engineering marvel situated on a sprawling platform located several miles off the coast in the Gulf of Mexico. The facility is a towering structure that forms a complex mining and research operation. Its foundations secured deep into the seabed allow it to withstand harsh storms and oceanic currents.   Various areas cater to different functions, such as mining and excavation, refining, research laboratories, storage and logistics, and a docking station for hover trains that transport.   To secure the valuable resource, these trains embark on daring expeditions from Bastion to the offshore facility, navigating treacherous waters and braving the unpredictable oceanic currents. These sleek and resilient vessels are tasked with the crucial mission of gathering the raw materials for refinement necessary to fuel humanity's pursuit of harnessing the crystal’s limitless power.
