Upgrade Trees

Players can customize how their characters perform and ultimately how they function. Progressing through the game and increasing their XP Level earns points to select individual bonuses and skills. One Upgrade Point is gained per level to spend on the Upgrade Trees. There are a total of 25 nodes per tree with 100 total possible nodes to unlocks. By selecting each of the upgrade nodes they want in different combinations, playstyles can vary immensely. Four unique Upgrade Trees contribute to an overall modular system where players can improve the abilities of every Guardian Framethey utilize.    Each of the Upgrade Trees provides different sets of benefits or skills which are typically tied to specific playstyles. While players could choose to focus all of their Upgrade Points on a specific tree, not diversifying would potentially put them at a disadvantage. Each point should cause players to weigh their options carefully. The four trees are:

• Offense
• Defense
• Utility
• Exploration

Nodes on each Upgrade Tree become progressively more expensive to unlock at each tier. Players may choose to refund one of their highest nodes on one tree once per week so they can reassign their Upgrade points elsewhere. They may also optionally purchase an Upgrade Rollback from The Emporium.
Players can unlock Frame ClassSpecializations as early as level 10. In order to Specialize in a different class, a minimum number of points must be allocated to specific Upgrade Trees and paths. The @knightFrame does not require any points in any Upgrade Tree, and can be used anytime.
