Commander Tai Feng
Tai Feng is one of the last full-blooded orcs in Lothal, possibly the very last if the rumors are true. He is also one of the eldest of his kind at just over 70 years old. That old age has done nothing to weaken his skills as one of the nation's, and world's, most skilled fighters.
Tai Feng was one of the few orcs who thought it was foolish to march against the fey, making him one of the handful to survive the Massacre at Death Pass by virtue of not being there. He became the leader of those few orcs who remained alive and did well to keep them alive and together, namely his orphaned nephew Paul. When Paul left to hold the eastern line during the War of Sea and Sky, Tai Feng remained behind to assist with rallying the western forces. He was first in line leading them when they rallied east and pushed the tortles and aarakocra back over their borders.
Once Lothal was properly formed, King Paul Shapechanger selected Tai Feng to lead the new nation's army. Tai Feng proved to be a hard but fair leader, building a military force centered around discipline and free from weakness. While his soldiers now make up the more mundane forces of Lothal's military, they are far more numerous than their Wyvern Knight and Blue Mage companions. The exception, of course, being the Mithril Guard; the King's elite troops, each of whom was personally trained by Tai Feng.
