Kalisna Cull'thaine

Kalisna Cull'thaine is the youngest daughter of Driadara Cull'thaine, matron mother of House Cull'thaine, and a priestess of Lolth, the Spider Queen. Her youth results in many of the family's unwanted jobs being foisted onto her, something which she resents both her mother and older sisters for. She eagerly awaits the day she can rise to a higher station and begin to better spend her time planning on how to rise further still, as is her birthright.

Pre-Campaign

Despite her youth resulting in an initial lower station, it was Kalisna who discovered where some of the heretical worshippers of Eilistraee, the Dark Dancer, had fled to after their ousting from Vlyn'darastyl. As a reward, she was permitted to lead the assault against the blasphemers. Kalisna fell upon them with a host of drow warriors and demons at her side, slaughtering the outnumbered Eilistraee worshippers despite their best efforts to fight back. The leaders of the community, Sabrae Vaerixas and K’yorl Arlathil, were taken prisoner rather than killed alongside their newborn baby, Leh'ct Arlathil.
Thinking a swift death too good for them, Kalisna stabbed each of them with a dagger coated in painful, slow acting poison. K’yorl tried to lunge at her as she approached him, but he was swiftly knocked unconscious by one of Kalisna's guards. She told Sabrae exactly what she was doing to them and left the family there to die, too injured to move and with the knowledge that their child would die not long after from starvation or when his cries attracted a hungry predator. As Sabrae screamed in rage and anguish, Kalisna collected her surviving troops and left with a smile and sense of satisfaction for so successfully carrying out the Spider Queen's will.
