Enchanters
Enchantment is one of the seven schools of magic recognized in the realm. It deals with influencing the minds of others by subtly charming them, or through compulsion which exerts a more overt control over the subject. The Enchanters focus rather on their responsibilities of creation, for they are the smiths of most items of magical power. This lucrative business makes the Enchanters the richest school in the Nominis Arcanum and combined with their penchant for mind manipulation makes them the most influential as well. They sell mostly magical trinkets, that they produce in mass; they more rarely take commissions for high paying or high status customers. It is said that each Enchanter one day is inspired to create his "magnum opus" or, ones greatest work. After they achieve this peak they never create an item of such power ever again and their art dwindles thereafter. Some Enchanters offer their services of charm and compulsion to traders seeking to get a better deal from their suppliers and the like.
