The Law works differently in Nexus than it does in the rest of the kingdom, no judges are allowed to operate within the city only Sheriffs from the The Iron Collar Guild are allowed to apprehend criminals, the criminals are then sent to The Slammer while they await trial in the King's court. Gorbil is a Tengu. He is one of the senior partners of the Law Office, and is known for his sharp intellect, quick wit and his ability to think strategically, all of which makes him a valuable asset in high-stakes legal battles. He possesses a keen mind, and is able to absorb and process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently. He is also known for his sharp memory and ability to recall facts and legal precedents with ease. Gorbil is a skilled attorney, with a deep understanding of the law and a talent for arguing cases in court. He has a natural affinity for languages, and is able to speak and read many different languages fluently.
Clark, on the other hand, is a less accomplished human attorney, he is known for his friendliness and disarming smile. He has made friends with many of the nobles that try his firm's cases, he uses restaurants and gifts to stay in their good graces and ensure verdicts swing his way.
