Personal history
Echo in the Mountains was born in the desert city state of Nava-Nesu on the continent of Aunell in the year 1590. From a young age, having never known her biological parents, she was taken in by the Zol-Ahk Bhaal, a guild of secret assassins who worship the Fallen God, Bhaal. There, she was trained in the art of silent death and was molded into a living weapon of unholy ritualistic murder.
In 1605, during a solo mission in the Upper Spires of Nava-Nesu, she discovered that her target was, in actual fact, the eight year olf daughter of lesser lord of the city who had been named his heir. Not willing to murder an innocent child, she instead anonomously tipped off the Miramedj to protect the child and her family, and immediately absconded from Nava-Nesu, fleeing the continent of Aunell.
In 1610 she found her way to the island of Navoi, where she began to take odd jobs as a treasure hunter, seeking magical artifacts to sell and study.
In 1613, she boarded the Lancaster bound for Arkopolis, the capital of Lunamaeg, when the fleet she was riding with suddenly came under attack by the Second Draconic Fleet of Geluregnum. She and a Sea-Elf named Naivara were the sole survivers of the attack. The pair joined up with the Party and made their way to the Lunamaeg mainland, and are now heading North towards the city of Northgate.

Echo, having taken it upon herself to separate from the assassins that trained her, wishes to experiance the full array of freedom and an ideal sense of self worth. She wishes to remove herself from the control of outside influence while persuing her own personal obsessions. She has an avid love of learning and knowledge and wishes to amass a respectable collection of artifacts.
