Shealbhú
Often called "The Gateway to the North," Shealbhú is an impressive but lonely castle built right on the border of The Realm's Heartland region and Wurinzama. It serves as a stop upon the Northern Highway that leads to The Holy Mernite Sovereignty as well as the de-facto Realm capital of the Wurinzama region.
The castle is often used as a jumping off point for major military campaigns north into the Mernite Sovereignty, but for the most part just serves a safe point for any travelers going north or south, as well as a governing center and meeting place for the Realm to rule over Wurinzama and the Zaman Oreets that wander inside of it.
Government
The castle is permanently ruled by a Scata Rialaíonn, or Military Governor, appointed by the Domhanda Council.
Defences
The citadel maintains some of the best cavalry in The Realm, who patrol up and down the Northern Highway and in the area around the citadel. It also maintains a foot garrison and citadel guard for primary defense.
History
The impressive citadel was ordered to be built after Wurinzama was brought into the fold of The Realm in order to have a presence in the region.
Architecture
The citadel is often cited for how beautiful its architecture and construction is, including its many impressive statues, despite effectively being a frontier garrison.
Geography
Like much of Wurinzama, the area around the citadel is flat and grassy with occasional and small outcroppings and hills.
