Castelo Segura
Castelo Segura is one of the most important strategic settlements in The Principality of Al-Tiba.
Serving as the bulwark against any land invasions from Efaanu, Castelo Segura is a short march away from the defenses of Plusios pass. This distance allows for quick movement of troops in the case of an invasion, and as such Castelo Segura serves a vital strategic importance.
Originally built to defend against The Mernite Sovereignty, and then The Realm, it now defends against the unlikely event that the reborn Holy Mernite Sovereignty decides to invade. It also aids in the protection of the region from bandit and raider attacks.
Government
Castelo Segura has become the seat of the Amir/Amira of the Oeste Alcanza Amitra. As the seat of the Amitra the ruling Amir/Amira controls the citadel with the aid of the local Regatra, in this case the Regatra of Rexió.
Defences
The citadel is defended by a permanent garrison paid for by the Grand Prince(ess) as well as tall walls and towers.
Industry & Trade
The citadel itself doesn't have much in the way of industry or trade. While some trade will flow into the east by land, most traders prefer to travel by boat. Due to the citadels strategic importance though, it is well supplied with food and supplies by the Grand Prince(ess).
Geography
The region around Castelo Segura is hot, rocky, and desertous due to it being on the cusp of the Desert of Ulb.
