Cosmalis

Cosmalis is a holiday established on the date of Panikos Cosmalis' death in the early Third Age. It both celebrates the life and accomplishments of The Hopeful Return's first captain, and also celebrates more largely the Hopeful Returns continuing contributions to the continent of Kalin.
Celebrations are usually held throughout the continent in early Spring. It's usually used as a day off of work/school, though it is tradition that whatever city The Hopeful Return is closest to at that time will hold a much larger celebration with dignitaries and celebrities in attendance.
