Duesford

Rooted in ancient Poutonese nautical roots, Duesford is the provincial capital of the Province of Pouton. Since the early Second Age Duesford and its province have been famed for its top notch sailors and boats, this continues to today with it being home of the best sailors and ships of the Tharrisian Navy (even if the Tharrisians look down on the navy). 
Traders and adventurers alike charter boats and hire on sailors from here on an hourly basis, and Tharrisian Naval Auxilia and supporting marines patrol its cobblestone streets.

Demographics

The city hosts a lot of port and naval workers, but is mostly known for how diverse it is due to it being a common landing spot for foreigners, with species not commonly seen at all in Kalin being fairly normal in Duesford.

Government

Duesford is the seat of the Provincial Governor of Pouton, who also serves as the primary administrator for their seat of power.

History

Duesford and Pouton were once independent nations, but at the end of the Second Age they were annexed by Tharrisia due to a loophole in the nations last king that allowed it to fall into Tharrisian hands.

Geography

The region around Duesford is mostly temperate forests, fields, and golden grass hills. The sea itself is calm, and while not warm it is inviting.
