Gnome

Gnomes a mysterious race, not native to Kalin or Efaanu in large numbers. Gnomes average slightly over 3 feet tall and weigh 40 to 45 pounds. Their tan or brown faces are usually adorned with broad smiles (beneath their prodigious noses), and their bright eyes shine with excitement. Their fair hair has a tendency to stick out in every direction, as if expressing the gnome’s insatiable interest in everything around. A gnome’s energy and enthusiasm for living shines through every inch of his or her tiny body. They are known for their intelligence and wit.
Despite not being from either Kalin or Efaanu, Gnomes aren't an unheard of sight. They tend to lean towards exploration and discovery with their short lives, and wandering far off continents is certainly one form of that.
What information has been gathered seems to tell that most Gnomes originate from a place they call Minsog Gohyang, or "Home of Folk" but whether this is a specific place or a generic term in their tongue for where they come from is unclear.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

In Kalin

While some Gnomes have made Kalin home, most are wanderers. Gnomes have had little impact on Kalin history, with the major of exception of Mundoli Musoon, the man responsible for introducing Technomancy to the continent.

In Efaanu

Any Gnomes in Efaanu are most likely wanderers, explorers, or both.

In Wahar

Little information is known, but it is said that Gnomes have a more sizable presence in Wahar than most other continents. It may even be their origin point.

In Archin

Gnomes are thought to either be travelers or wanderers in Archin, and do not seem to largely originate from there.

Lifespan

Gnomes live extremely short lives by Human standards, maturing into adulthood mentally and physically at the age of 8, and averaging about 45 years of life. A 55 year old Gnome is considered ancient.
