Lyath'Or
City of the Drow (Or Dark Elves as they are commonly known) Lyath’Or is a cold place, and inhospitable to many. Once the Immortal City of Helbrech the city was razed by the Tyrant Corlin in the first age. The city was rebuilt by the persistent Drow led by their queen, Xune. They were aided by the fine construction work of the Dwarves, an alliance that would one day lead to the establishment of the Dwaav-Torva'Dro Abbanshi.
The city itself is mostly Drow, Dwarves, and Duregar, and few outsiders live in the city. A fair few trade in the city however as Lyath’Or is known for its fine blacksmithing work with the mixing of Dwarvish and Elvish skill.
The city is ruled by a Queen, Xune. As an eternal elf she has led her people ever since the fall of Helbrech in the last age. She shares power with the Dwaav Assembly King/Queen over the Abbanshi as a whole.
Lyath'Or lies mostly under the ground, with small parts of it above ground. The common joke is that this made the Abbanshi more likely, as most Dwarves felt at home in Lyath'Or.
Demographics
The city is mostly made up of Drow, Dwarves, and Duregar in terms of species. Due to being the primary population center of "non-corrupted" Drow, the economy is heavily diversified, with the cities government (led by Xune) making a point to ensure that every single Drow has some form of gainful employment and housing.
Government
The city and its surrounding territory is ruled by Xune, the ever eternal queen of the Drow, and those she chooses to take care of various departments and day-to-day functions.
Architecture
Above ground the architecture is beautiful in a dark way, with stone being cut in smooth yet somewhat gothic tones. Below ground this continues, with the supports for caves and buildings being dark, illuminated with cold blue light.
Geography
Lyath'Or is in a cold region of the world with tundra immediately surrounding the city. While there is still a spring and summer, they are brief and hard to distinguish.
Natural Resources
Lyath'Or has ready access to rare metals to use in their blacksmithing and manufacturing.
