Yuan-Ti

Little is known about the Yuan-Ti, and what is known is gathered from the rumors of far travelers.
Apparently the dominant species in a nation of Wahar, the Yuan-Ti are a people either related to, descended from, or merged with snakes. Any Yuan-Ti seen on far shores away from Wahar seems to look human with snake-like features (eyes are a common give away, as are hinging jaws and patches of scales), but don't overly look like snakes on quick inspection or if properly covered, looking like Humans instead. Though according to rumors, there are "breeds" of Yuan-Ti that look much more like human-sized snakes in their homeland. What is true or not is hard to tell.
It is also said that all Yuan-Ti are emotionless, effectively sociopaths. The truth of this is also unknown.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Yuan-Ti originate from a region in Wahar according to rumor. While there are supposedly various "breeds" of Yuan-Ti only the most human looking seem to wander far beyond their homeland and into the wider world as travelers (or if rumors are to be believed, spies).
