The Great Quakes were a brief and intense period of natural disasters centred around Marlun.

The Great Quakes were a period of natural disasters that caused enormous damage to all of Nimenra. For the Dwarven Kingdom, the cities in the eastern, southern and western mountains were disconnected and either destroyed or forgotten by their fellow dwarves when roads, tunnels and everything else that connected the great capital with the rest of the kingdom collapsed. For the demons and humans, the impact caused northernmost mountain-chain, Nerekuastar, to "sink down" and large landslides destroyed several villages, towns and mines around the mountains. For several of humanity's nations, there was people lost and damaged done. Glarn's formerly lucrative mining business in the northeastern part of Marlun was demolished, killing hundreds of workers and civilians, the city itself was also hit by earthquakes, which destroyed several houses and property.
