After an increasing mistreatment of Human and Dwarf slaves a rebellion broke out which orginated from Gonevar (current Golandon). According to myths it started when the majority of the Human women were taken to be used for breeding to create more slaves.

After an increasing mistreatment of Human and Dwarf slaves a rebellion broke out which orginated from Gonevar (current Golandon). According to myths it started when the majority of the Human women were taken to be used for breeding to create more slaves.   Although it started with small scale skirmishes, the revolution soon spread to the countryside where fields were burned by the rebels. The official start of the rebellion, which is still celebrated as the Burning Man Day, was when a Human by the name Kaveris stole several Elemental Gems and caused them to go of inside the local government building. By doing this he killed himself but also decimated the building. Because the Avaronians could not afford to lose such a large food supply they send most of their military to the region to stop the rebellion.   The revolution succeeded in setting fire to the entire city before the army arrived. Those that did not run away were later killed by the Avaronian army and eventually the city was abandoned.
