After the severe breakdown of the Gonovar Rebellion the Archon Alliance decided to move against the Avaronian Empire once more. This time they were joined by the Arendor States with whom they had forged an alliance.

After the severe breakdown of the Gonovar Rebellion the Archon Alliance decided to move against the Avaronian Empire once more. This time they were joined by the Arendor States with whom they had forged an alliance. While the Dwarves attacked the north western part of Empire the Archon Alliance pushed from the southern side. The Dragonborn allies of the Avaronian Empire were to small in number to join the war. This forced the Avaronians to retreat their armies to the core regions of their empire to fend of the invaders from both sides. The border of the human controlled areas was eventually moved higher north and included many regions of current Eprus.
