Goblin
The most populous of the Goblin-ken, goblins refer to any of various races of diminutive humanoid creatures native to all parts of Tamriel. Most of the common folk of Tamriel consider goblins to be a barely intelligent menace, associating them with elven households where they are often kept as slaves, or as violent tribes of witches living in sewers and other dark hidden corners of the world, and raiders who threaten trade routes to survive.
In reality, goblins are a diverse, continent-spanning people with a meriad of cultural groups, whose primary uniting factor is the discrimination they face by the various people who conquered their lands long ago.
Muluk the Blue
There are numerous iterations of goblin religion, but the most common motif is worship of a Blue God who appears to goblin-ken in their dreams, guiding them on their path to self determination. This Blue God goes by many names, but most scholars believe this deity to be an aspect of the Daedric Prince Malacath, the god of the Orcs. Malacath is known as the Prince of the spurned and ostricized. One myth of the Blue God names Them Muluk. In this story, a wealthy and powerful slavemaster by the name of Trin ruled over his servants with unmatched cruelty. So wealthy was this elf that his very blood had turned blue. His people had put the smallest of their kind to slavery. One day Trin discovered that his slaves were plotting to escape from him. He cornered their leader, a little hairy creature called Mul and began to beat him in front of the others. Mul's followers cried out at the injustice, praying to the gods to save them. The gods, cowardly patrons of the oppressors, ignored their plea. But so powerful was the strength of their prayers that something stirred inside Trin's heart. An ember of the concentrated fury of his slaves that called for their master's blood to spill. And when Mul managed to avoid one of his blows, delivering razor-sharp nails across his chest, a guyser of the bastard's blood spilled forth, forming into an axe. At last, the two were on an even footing. Mul had fought in the slave pits at the behest of their masters. He knew how to use his new weapon. Trin considered himself a great warrior, but had no experience in a fight where he didn't have a decicive advantage. In one blow, Mul lopped off one of Trin's legs, his blood splattered across part of the crowd of slaves, and they became the Ogres. In another blow, he severed an arm, and the blood splattered, and those slaves became the Orcs. He chopped off one of Trin's ears, and those slaves became the Gremlins. Then he took off the nose, and created the Rieklings. Finally, Trin had enough. He begged for his life, limbless, earless, and noseless. He still feared his demise. And so, Mul gathered only their closest confidants; the cleverest, sneakiest of the slaves surrounding what was left of Master Trin. They lifted their axe and brought it down directly onto his heart. A tidal wave of blood erupted from the open chest, turning all the remaining slaves into beautiful Goblins, and the closest around the body, Mul's chosen, became the first Chiefs. What became of Mul, you ask? By the end of the fight, they were more blood than being. They told the goblin-ken to always remember this day, and to seek them in their dreams. For they were all united in the blue blood of their oppressors, which they had spilled for the freedom of all. They left for distant lands, to show other slaves the way out of bondage. From that day on, the goblin-ken were guided by the spirit of Muluk the Blue who rages in the hearts of all oppressors, calling for the oppressed to set Them loose.Goblin Traits
Goblins come in myriad shapes, sizes, and colors. But most often have the following traits:Age
Goblins reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century, rarely seeing 40 years of age.Size
Most goblins are under four feet in height, although Chiefs are often chosen among the strongest and largest of a tribe. Some tribes boast members who are over eight feet tall.Appearance
Goblins are typically short creatures with childlike proportions. Small, squat bodies with disproportionally large hands, feet, and pointed ears. Their skin tones are typically shades of green, brown, gray, or blue. Most goblins encountered by men and mer are filthy and malnourished due to the lives they are forced to lead outside the protections of society. However, many goblins are able to find places for themselves among the laborers in some settlements, particularly port towns and are notably less haggard than average.(WP -1) (AGL +2) (END +0)

lorem ipsemDue to a relatively peaceful coexistance with the human Skaal tribe who have traditionally controlled the island, Rieklings are better organized and are longer lived than other goblins. As consequence, they have an oral history that dates back to the late First Era and a fully developed language of their own. They also benefit from trade and cultural exchange with the Skaal and have a great deal of Atmoran influence in their dress and values. The Skaal believe them to be direct descendents of the Falmer who made their last stand against the ancient Nords on the island before disappearing from history. Although they consider themselves to have simply always existed as they are on Solstheim, as much a part of the island as its mountains and rivers. Centuries ago, Rieklings lived on the mainland as well, some even intermarrying with the goblins and Ice Tribes who resided there. These taller hybrid folk were colloquially known as Riekr. However, very few goblin-ken survive in mainland Skyrim today, and the Riekr and mainland Rieklings are both presumed extinct.

lorem ipsumScholars consider Gremlins to be a form of Beastfolk, noting their mouse-like features, and contest any direct relation to Goblins. However, the association is unbreakable. Gremlns have always coexisted within Goblin and Orc villiges. Despite their docile nature, their more aggressive neighbors welcome their presence, valuing them as pest-control, healers, and musicians. Some Gremlin familiies try to live in or near human or elf towns, but are largely treated as rodents themselves. Mages, particularly the Telvanni occationally employ a Gremlin to act as an assistant or familiar, inviting their family to live in their towers as a courtesy. Indomitable in spirit and agile, Gremlins are not easily kept in captivity. They have a powerful instinct to find their way home.
