Life, Birth
Faina Frostears gives birth to Fenneck Finnegan Frostears.
Faina opened her eyes as she felt her son squirm inside her, knowing he was ready to come into the world. She quickly patted Leonid awake. "He's coming!" she told him as she gasped for breath in excitement. Leonid opened his eyes and looked started as he clutched Faina's hand. "Are you okay? Wh- what do I do?!" he asked her frantically. Faina giggled at him and he smiled and kissed her excitedly. "I love you," she told him sweetly. He smiled. "I love you too, dear," he told her sweetly. Faina felt a sharp sensation run through her body. "Help me into the bathroom," she told him. Leonid nodded and helped her get to her feet as she clutched her giant belly. "Hold on, love," she told her son as she stumbled toward the bathroom in Leonid's arms. She stopped as they were passing through the living room, next to the dark fireplace and clutched her stomach. "He's coming, Leo," she told him, worried their wasn't time to make it much farther. Leonid helped her sit down as she felt the baby start to kick and squirm inside her. She spread her legs and Leonid lifted up her smock before grabbing some blankets off the couch to catch the baby elf. After a few intense moments she pushed and felt the little boy leave her. The fireplace next to them erupted in flames as well as any candles in the room and they were suddenly surrounded by bright magical green bubbles of light. Leonid gave her a concerned look for her magical outburst but was quickly distracted by the cries of the baby in his hands. Leonid wrapped up the tiny elf and started crying tears of joy as he admired his baby boy and clutched him to his chest. He moved closer to Faina so she could see him as well. He had a fuzzy head of his father's white, ashen locks and a soft, gentle face. He had bright green eyes like Faina and he cooed happily to them as he looked up at their faces. His most notable feature though was his very large, prominent ears that were a bit too big for his little head. "He's so perfect," Leonid said lovingly. "What's his name?!" he asked Faina excitedly. She looked down at the baby who was waving his perfect little hand to her face. "It was Finnegan," she told Leonid. "But... he never really liked any of the names I suggested," she said sadly. Leonid frowned and turned to his son. "What about Fenneck?" he asked her nervously. Faina smiled lovingly at her husband. "I didn't want to suggest it... in case you weren't comfortable with it," she told him, seeing the pain in Leonid's eyes. "Do you think he'd like it?" he nodded to their son who was curled up into his chest, smiling happily. Faina reached over and kissed the little boy's head. "I do," she said confidently. "We can tell him we named him after the fox for his big ears," she giggled. Leonid smiled and cradled the boy. "Hi, Fenneck," Leonid said sweetly to their son. The baby elf squealed excitedly and reached out his tiny hand to his fathers face. Leonid kissed him sweetly. "You're the most wonderful thing in this entire world," he told his son. "Fenneck Finnegan Frostears," he said admiringly at the little boy.
