They start to see a side of Fenneck they never expected. He fades from being the awe inspiring hero he once was to being an elf who is suffering, cynical, and trying to find happiness. They grow close and Lev feels their heart and brain grow fuzzy and confused by their attraction towards this man. Never having experiences romantic attraction, they aren't really sure what the desire for friendship, intimacy and sex really means when it comes to Fenneck Frostears. They decide that that's all it is, friendship with sexual feelings and Fenneck miraculously understands that feeling. They feel excited to have made a new friend at the end of it all.
