Fenneck and Jasna travel to Sivania after the Winter's Eve Festival to visit Alexei and to see more of their new country.

Fenneck picked up his luggage as the ferry came into the port of Sivania. The city was beautiful with giant clay walls and beautifully colorful awnings and murals. The port was bustling with many different types of people from all over Thymryu. There were really tall trees with long skinny trunks and fan-like branches that fascinated Fenneck which he found out later were referred to as palm trees. "Oh my goodness!" Jasna exclaimed, squeezing Fenneck's arm in excitement. Fenneck smiled, "It's incredible." He said, looking out at the vast desert surrounding the city, suddenly grateful for his snowy mountains as the bright sun beat down upon them in the heat. Jasna picked up her things as the ferry stopped and she and Fenneck exited the boat. They set their things down for a moment while he pulled out a map to try and figure out where to go next. "Fenneck!" He looked up and saw Alexei running toward him through the crowd. Fenneck smiled as Alexei attacked him with a fierce hug. "Lex! How are you?!" He asked him excitedly and taking in his new appearance. He was wearing bright purples and oranges and was dripping in elaborate jewelry and had a gold diadem on his head. "I'm wonderful! How are you?!" He said, seeming happier than Fenneck had ever seen him. Alexei pulled Jasna into a hug as well. "I'm fine. We're excited to be here!" Fenneck told him. Alexei looked him over and nodded to the new scar across Fenneck's forehead, "What the hell did that?" He asked, not hiding his disgust. Fenneck elbowed him playfully, "Ice troll. Very gruesome battle. Natalya left worse than I did though." He said, trying to sound impressive. "Some gentleman you are." Alexei teased him, "How is she?" He asked, looking hopeful for good news. Fenneck shrugged, "She's fine. Nothing has really changed on that front." Fenneck told him. Alexei sighed in very visible disappointment. "How's Padma?" Jasna asked excitedly. Alexei smiled shyly. "She's good. We're... doing quite well." He smiled as he thought about her and Fenneck felt an overwhelming joy overcome him for his friend. "I'm so glad." Fenneck said, taking Alexei's hand and squeezing it. "Want to take us to the palace?" Fenneck asked him, "I think I overdressed." He said, motioning to his dress tunic that was lined with warm rabbit fur that was quickly becoming unbearable in the heat. "Of course! I can send your stuff there with a courier and I can let you guys get some more suitable outfits for the heat as we walk through town." Alexei decided, laughing at Fenneck's choice of outfit. They sent their bags off and Alexei led them into the beautiful town. Fenneck was mesmerized by the bright colors and new smells that filled the air. Alexei led them to a shop where Fenneck saw the beautiful silks and fabrics the royal family had been wearing when they visited Flottenheim. Fenneck and Jasna both quickly became lost in the shop and they were soon trying on tons of different elaborate outfits. Fenneck introduced himself to the tailor and was soon learning everything he could about the beautiful fabrics and ornate designs and patterns of Sivania. Fenneck ordered a few bolts of silk to send to Naertho and he and Jasna bought a few outfits to wear while they were there. He loved the freeness and openness of the fashion there where people showed off lots of skin due to the heat. He and Jasna left the shop in their new outfits and walked around the square for a bit looking at beautiful bobbles and trinkets they had never seen before. He found a beautiful dragonchess set carved from desert glass he bought as well as some collections of stories and books for he and Natalya to read in the cave. He also bought a couple beautiful rugs for their cave that sported the bright, vibrant designs of this fascinating city. He had also bought Natalya a couple silky, bright outfits she would find comfortable enough to lounge about in their cave in. It wasn't as revealing as the other clothes in the shop and he hoped she wouldn't read into his gifts too much. He wished she had come with him. He tried not to think about her as they explored the new city but he found it difficult. He also hated leaving her up there alone in the cold, dangerous mountains. Luckily, Jasna and Alexei acted as wonderful distractions and by the time they made it to the palace it was dark out and their arms were full with their exciting goodies. They entered the very grand palace literally dripping with gold and jewels that Fenneck would have normally found disgusting if the palace hadn't been so beautiful to look at. They entered and saw Rajyet down the hall. "Your grace." The three of them said in unison, bowing toward the giant sun elf. He bowed back to them politely, "Your highness," He addressed Fenneck before turning to Jasna, "Your excellency. Welcome to Sivania." He said gesturing around them, very proud of his city. He noticed their bundles of items and their new outfits and he smiled, "I see you've already been enjoying the city. Your rooms are ready for you and I'd love for you to join us tomorrow evening after the games for a party in the ballroom. I'm sure you're exhausted from your travels and shopping spree so I'll have the chefs send you some meals to your room." He said very elegantly and formally. "That would be wonderful your grace. Your city is quite beautiful. It's very different from our cold, snowy mountains." Fenneck replied formally. Rajyet smiled, "My soon to be son in law will show you to your rooms. Have a wonderful night." He bowed to them again before sauntering down the hall with his attendants. Fenneck turned to Alexei who gave him a guilty smile. "You're engaged?! Already?!" Fenneck asked him in disbelief. Alexei shrugged, "Yeah, I wasn't sure how to tell you. I had a whole speech planned where I was gonna ask you to be my best man but this works too I guess." He said giggling. Fenneck pulled him into a hug, careful not to crush their armful of goods. "Of course I will!" Fenneck told him excitedly before taking a step back and studying Alexei thoughtfully thinking about how drastically Alexei's life had changed in the last two years. "Where is the lucky bride?!" Jasna asked excitedly. Alexei smiled, "She's probably in our room. She wanted me to spend the day catching up with you guys." Alexei explained. "Wait." Fenneck stopped him, "When are you getting married?!" Fenneck asked him. Alexei shrugged, "We don't have a date yet. We just got engaged last month actually." He said, smiling as he thought about Padma. "Oh! Who asked who and how??!" Jasna asked excitedly. Alexei smiled, "Well, we were walking along the river one day, just talking and she got down on one knee and asked me." Jasna was thirsty for more details, "What did she say?! What time of day was it?!" Alexei looked up and Fenneck heard Padma walking up behind them, "It was sunset and as the beautiful desert sun cast a pink light over the river I got to one knee and offered him a ring of pure gold and asked him to be mine forever." She said romantically as she slid into Alexei's arms. She was a few inches taller than him and definitely stronger but they made a cute couple. She looked lovingly into Alexei's eyes as she relayed her story, "His cheeks turned as pink as the river and he excitedly pulled me into a romantic kiss and swore to love me till the end of time." She giggled as Alexei kissed her cheek lovingly. Jasna sighed, "You two are so adorable!" She said fanning the tears of happiness in her eyes. Fenneck smiled at them, "And to think you both almost gave this up for someone as pathetic as me!" He teased them. They caught up with Padma a bit before Alexei showed them to their respective rooms and Fenneck settled into his home for the next couple months. The room was very ornate and had a large king size bed in the center. He settled in and ate his delicious meal and got comfy for the night, trying not to think about how unfair he found it that Alexei's thiramin experience had gone infinitely better than his own. The next day they went to the gladiator games which Fenneck found a bit gruesome but the entire town adored it and was extremely competitive. The stands roared with cheers and boos and Padma helped explain the rules and system to it all. When the games were done, they left the arena and headed back to the palace and went to a very grand ballroom with extremely loud music. Jasna clung to Fenneck's arm, feeling a bit overwhelmed as they entered the room to the unusual instrument noises and erotic dancers. Fenneck smiled at her intimidation by such wondrous things. He walked over to a table of food and tried a couple hors d'oeuvres before he and Jasna stumbled upon a table of liquors. He watched a couple sun elves take some shots of this unusual green liquid. "Do you know what that is?" He asked Jasna who shook her head, "Wanna try it?" She suggested. Fenneck shrugged, "Sure." Jasna poured them both a shot. "To our incredibly depressing love lives!" She said teasingly as they took a shot of the weird liquid. Fenneck had never tasted anything like it. It tasted so specific and unique. He picked up the bottle but didn't see a label. "This is good... Right?" He asked her, trying to decide if he liked the weird taste or not. She also seemed confused by the drink. Fenneck poured another shot and tried to taste the liquor this time. Jasna followed his lead. He shrugged, "I think I like it?" He said, trying to place the flavor. Jasna started swaying to the music, "Wanna dance?!" She asked over the music. Fenneck looked out over the crowd and felt a little insecure... until he didn't. He grabbed Jasna's hands and dragged her out into the dance floor and felt everything start to feel very fun and fluid. He pulled Jasna into his arms and they started dancing together, trying to follow the lead of the beautiful sun elves around them. The lighting was very dim and odd and Fenneck soon felt like the room had a green hue to it and Jasna was starting to look very beautiful... and blurry. They lost themselves to the music though and occasionally would bump into one of the other dancers who would grind on them and at one point Fenneck found himself making out with what Fenneck assumed was a handsome sun elf on the dance floor. He couldn't really tell or focus enough. At one point a couple women joined them and Fenneck was starting to like Sivania. Suddenly he felt an arm grab him and he turned and saw Jasna pulling him away from his new friends. "We have to leave!" She said excitedly and somewhat scared. "Why?!" Fenneck shouted at her over the loud music. He was finding it very hard to focus. "There's a dragon here!" She said fearfully pointing to the center of the room where Fenneck saw a huge blue dragon swooping down to attack them. "Ahhh!" He screamed and pulled Jasna down a few hallways to escape. Eventually he found another very attractive group of high elves and started kissing them again. "He's cute!" Jasna said giggling as she lowered herself to pleasure the elf's lower half as Fenneck took care of his top. "Fenneck! The dragon is back!" She screamed again. Fenneck stumbled back in fear as the blue dragon attacked them again. He pulled Jasna close to himself and found a sword to fight the beast. He slashed at it and it disappeared again. "We're safe now." He saw the sexy elf again and went back to his business. "You're coming to my room tonight!" He told the elf and he kissed the elf's cool lips. Jasna screamed again in fear, "He's back! Fenneck!" Fenneck saw the dragon attack them again and he threw himself over Jasna to protect her as everything went dark.   Fenneck woke up the next morning feeling as if he had fallen down a mountain. His head was pounding and he groaned and turned over into his pillows and saw Jasna lying in his bed. He froze in horror. Oh no no no. He thought. Jasna's face was hidden in the pillows and under her pile of brown hair. He slowly lifted the covers and sighed with relief when he saw they were still wearing clothes. Jasna squirmed in annoyance from the covers being moved and Fenneck dropped them and laid back to try and remember what happened last night. Jasna rolled over and opened her eyes in wide surprise seeing Fenneck in bed with her. "Did we...?" She asked. Fenneck shrugged weakly, "I... don't remember." He said scared that they might have. She looked under the covers and saw they still had some of their clothes on. She looked back at Fenneck, "What the hell happened last night?" She asked him, also nursing a painful headache. Fenneck suddenly remembered the green liquid they had drank. "What did we drink last night?" He asked her. She thought for a moment before a look of disgust filled her face and she leapt out of the bed and ran to the trash bin and threw up. Seeing her vomit caused Fenneck to follow her lead and he ran to the chamber pot in the corner of the room. "Ugh." He said, crumpling to the floor and leaning against the wall in pain. Jasna brought her trash bin over and sat down across from Fenneck. "I remember a dragon." She said painfully, trying not to hurl again. Fenneck sighed, "I hope we didn't make complete fools of ourselves." He said, closing his eyes for a brief moment. "Do you remember if we slept together or not?" He asked her, hoping to put that mystery to rest. "I don't remember. Why?" She asked him, clearly offended. "You think you're impressive or something for not sleeping with me up till this point?" She asked him harshly. He sighed and waved her off, "No. I just want to know. I mean... it would be weird right?" He asked her. She shrugged, "It's just sex, Fenneck." She tried to play it off. He gave her a look, "Oh come on. I know you don't actually like me like that." He told her. "I think you're very handsome." She offered. He rolled his eyes, "Yes, and you're quite gorgeous but I don't want to sleep with you like that." He said, as if it were obvious. "Like what?" She asked. He shrugged, "I don't know. At all! You're like a sister to me Jas." She sighed, a bit sadly, "I know. I wish we didn't feel that way sometimes, though." She mused. Fenneck cocked his head at her, "Why is that?" He asked her. She shrugged and looked down at the rug they were sitting on and started playing with the tassels. "I just think it would be nice sometimes. I can't have thiramin and you and Natalya don't really seem to be working out. I just wish we could... be there for each other. And I don't just mean sex, but... I'm just lonely." She said sadly. Fenneck scooted over to her, "What happened, Jas? With you and Baegla?" He asked her. Jasna sighed, "Well we haven't exactly been exclusive for a while now, but that's been obvious." She sad sadly. "She's getting old Fenneck. I'm just... not." She looked up at Fenneck and shrugged as she said this. Fenneck wrapped an arm around her and she rested her head on his shoulder. "She told me that we should stop being together at all a few years ago." She ran the tassels through her fingers. "I miss her, Fenneck. I miss her so much. I keep trying to distract myself and find someone else. Someone who I won't outlive. Someone who I can have a life with and I just... I don't know if I ever will." She sniffled, "It could make sense for us to be together, Fen. If only we liked each other." She laughed softly and Fenneck kissed her forehead. "I will always be here for you Jasna. I know, trust me, I know it's not the same. But at least we will never ruin this by sleeping with each other." He said jokingly. "I also feel weird about it because of Evelyn, if I'm being completely honest." He said chuckling. She leaned into him, "I know. And I hope you and Natalya figure it out. I like you together." She told him. Fenneck sighed, "I don't know if that will ever be a reality. She doesn't love me." He finally admitted out loud. Jasna sighed in defeat, "Well, maybe you'll find a sexy sun elf here? I think you met someone last night you were getting it on with." She said, trying to remember the previous nights events. "I think you're right actually. Man, what the hell was that green shit we drank?" He asked, feeling his stomach start to lurch again at the thought of the weird drink. At that moment, there was a knock on the door. Fenneck stood up shakily and walked to the door. He opened it to see Alexei standing there with a look of concern on his face. "Oh good. You're alive." He said rolling his eyes. Fenneck rubbed his head, "What happened last night?" He asked him, a bit fearful of the answer. Alexei looked past Fenneck and saw Jasna on the ground. "You two had quite the adventure." He mused. Fenneck sighed and let Alexei into the room and closed the door behind him. Alexei walked in and sat down on the edge on the bed, "You two drank Naga Juice. And you drank a lot of it. I made that mistake too, when I first got here. That shit will fuck you up." Fenneck sighed and plopped himself down in the desk chair, "We remember a dragon and I think I made out with someone." Alexei snickered, "Yeah. You both tried to attack the mural of Sethrekar in the hall with a kabob skewer and then got distracted and started making out with the statues next to it. It was honestly hilarious." He said, clearly enjoying the looks of embarrassment on Jasna and Fenneck's faces. "Wait." Jasna said, "You were there the whole time?" Alexei chuckled, "Yeah, I was making sure you didn't kill yourselves." Jasna shook her head in disbelief, "I don't remember seeing you!" Alexei cocked his head at her, "You were attacking a mural." He pointed out. Jasna nodded, "Fair enough." Fenneck shook his head, "Wait, who's Sethrekar?" He asked Alexei. Alexei smiled, "He's the blue dragon that lives in the desert here. He's a nasty beast and very cruel. Luckily he doesn't venture too close to Sivania." Fenneck looked at him confused, "Padma told me the dragon here was friendly." He pointed out. Alexei nodded in understanding, "Ah yes. You mean Ukris, the brass dragon." He clarified, "Yeah he's cool. I've met him. Hey, if you want, Padma and I could take you guys to meet him? It's a bit of a journey, a day there and back on camel and it's sometimes dangerous but if you guys want, we could do it?" Alexei offered. Fenneck looked over at Jasna who shrugged, "I've never actually seen a dragon so... sure!" Fenneck turned to Alexei, "What's a camel?" He asked curious. Alexei stood up and walked to the door, "Get dressed and ready and I'll meet you in the entrance." He said, avoiding Fenneck's question with a playful smile. Fenneck shrugged as Alexei left and closed the door behind him. "You hate adventures!" He said playfully to Jasna. She shrugged, "It's a vacation! We should do something crazy!" He sighed and stood up and walked over to Jasna to help her to her feet. "I'll meet you at the entrance then." He told her. "Sounds lovely!" She hopped up and kissed him on the cheek before starting to skip to the door before clutching her upset stomach again and groaning in pain. They met Alexei and Padma outside the palace and Fenneck saw the giant horse-like creatures with weirdly shaped backs and long necks that he learned were camels. He and Jasna rode one together and Alexei and Padma took the other one. As they traveled across the desert Fenneck soon found he hated the desert quite possibly more than anything else in his life. He missed his cold, icy mountains as his pale skin quickly turned pink and he was covered in sweat. "How do you stand this?!" He asked Alexei as he desperately drank from his unlimited waterskin they were thankfully given for their trip. Alexei laughed, "Honestly? I sooo prefer this to snow and ice!" He said laughing at Fenneck's pathetic adaption to this new environment. Luckily their journey to the dragon's lair was fairly uneventful. They eventually came upon a huge red spire with a large pathway leading into the peak. Padma led the way as she lead their camel up the giant path. They made it to a cliff face and Padma and Alexei climbed off of their camel, prompting Fenneck and Jasna to follow suit. Padma walked up to the cliff and studied the wall for a bit before she found a small, hidden bell hiding in a hole in the wall and she gently rang it before taking a few steps back. They waited for about twenty minutes as the sun started to set when all of a sudden a large hole revealed itself in the cliff and a huge brass dragon stood before them. The dragon was over fifteen feet tall and it had triangular wings that resembled a fan that stretched along it's entire body to the tip of it's tail. His scales were a brass metallic color and his face had a smooth fan-like fin framing his snout which sported large horns on the end of his chin. Fenneck was overwhelmed at the sight of such a magnificent beast. He had heard the frost giants talk of a white dragon to the west of Flottenheim but he and Natalya hadn't dared to try and see it for themselves. The dragon looked them over in a very intimidating manner before crouching excitedly and wagging his tail like an excited dog. "Well, hello there friends! Oh, Padma and Alexei! It's so wonderful to see you again! Goodness, it's been months!" The dragon said excitedly lowering his head so that he was more level with the elves. Padma smiled, "It's good to see you too Ukris! This is Fenneck and Jasna. They are some of Alexei's friends from Flottenheim." The dragon turned and smiled excitedly at Fenneck and Jasna. "Well, hello friends! Oh, it's so wonderful to meet you! Please do come in and we can chat in the Conversation Hall!" He turned and waved his tail gesturing for them to follow him. Jasna looked over at Fenneck looking ready to burst from excitement. They followed the dragon through some windy pathways until they entered a large hall with a beautiful chandelier lit with over two hundred candles hanging from the ceiling. There were lit torches along the walls and the ground was covered in beautiful, soft rugs from Sivania. The dragon had a large raised platform he settled himself onto before turning to his new guests. "Welcome to my home friends. If there is anything I can get you, please let me know! So, what are your stories?!" He asked Jasna and Fenneck. They told the dragon about the revolution and Flottenheim and other exciting moments from their lives. The dragon hung on to every word with wondrous excitement. Fenneck enjoyed the silly creature. At one point Ukris had him plant an apple tree in the corner of the room in a pot of dirt and he went crazy over Fenneck and Jasna's abilities to grow the luscious plant. They talked for hours and hours with the creature before he finally sent them to the Resting Chamber for the night. The next morning he talked their ears off for another few hours before finally allowing them to leave his presence. As they were heading out of the cave Fenneck felt a rustle in the sand in front of him. He stopped and watched as a tiny white dragon poked his head out of the sand and looked up at their party. Fenneck felt the dragon in his mind, similar to the way Baegla sometimes messed with him telepathically. Intrigued by the small creature, he leaned down and beckoned it over. The little dragon looked at him and Fenneck knew it was cautious but intrigued. It slowly sauntered over and sniffed Fenneck's outstretched hand. "What is it?" He asked Padma. She smiled, "A pseudodragon." She explained. "They like to hang out around here because Ukris' presence keeps them safe from Sethrekar." Fenneck smiled at the little creature, "Hello little guy." The dragon looked up at Fenneck expectantly. "What?" He asked it. It looked over at Jasna who was also kneeling down to admire it. "Hi there little fellow!" She said. The dragon perked up at her and garbled something back causing Jasna to smile. "He's just hungry." She said reaching into her pouch and offering some dates and figs to the dragon. The dragon looked at the food and hesitantly reached out and took it from her hand and quickly ate it. Fenneck reached out a hand to pet it as it ate and it got startled. It jumped back and blew a small burst of flames at Fenneck who jumped back in fear. "I'm sorry!" He told the small creature who scurried back into the sand beneath them. He looked over at Jasna, upset with himself for scaring it. Padma shrugged, "He's fine. They're not very social creatures." She explained and continued out of Ukris' cave. They got back on their camels and headed back toward Sivania. When they got back to Sivania, Fenneck's skin was bright pink and he found it quite painful to move. Jasna thought he looked hilarious and constantly made fun of his tomato red ears as they made it back to their room. Luckily Alexei brought him a magical ointment to help ease the pain for the night. The next day Fenneck accompanied Alexei out to the farms the Glitterfjellians had started. It was in a huge gated section to the east of the city. It was one of the most beautiful sights Fenneck had ever seen. It was a beautiful garden oasis in the middle of the clay colored city with trees and vines and flowers blooming up the walls around the garden that housed a beautiful pond in the center of it. Alexei showed him all the new and different plants native to Sivania that were sprinkled in among the orchards of apple trees and fields of crops. Fenneck spent the entire day wandering around in the beauty of it and even meditated on a small bench out in the garden. He finished as the sun was setting and he decided to head back to the palace. He arrived and joined in the feast taking place in the dining room. He chatted with Rajyet about politics for most of the night before the entire table erupted into an argument over the gladiator fights that would be happening in the next week. Fenneck was dumbfounded by how passionate the Sivanians were about the sport but he enjoyed the silly banter. After a few hours, Rajyet invited him and Jasna to the afterparty happening in the lounge down the hall. They agreed and followed the duke and duchess and the other members of court down a hall. Alexei pulled Fenneck down so he could whisper in his ear as they walked, "If you get uncomfortable, you don't have to stay." He said, a bit mysteriously before rubbing Fenneck's back in a rather sensual way. As they turned into the lounge Fenneck saw a large, dimly lit room with four large pillars supporting the ceiling. The floor was covered in what looked like bed mats with soft, beautifully ornate rugs and blankets on them. The walls were covered in beautiful glass mosaics depicting elves partying and in the act of love making. There was exotic music playing from a couple bards in the corner with flutes and weird guitars Fenneck had never seen before. Around the room he saw many elves, some humans and some half-elves having sex with each other and he realized this was a very particular type of after party. There was a small alcove in the entrance where the court members undressed before entering the room. Fenneck felt a lot of different emotions as he saw the scene in front of him, predominately fear and intimidation. Even Jasna seemed nervous about the affair. Fenneck looked over and saw Alexei take his clothes off and help Padma out of her own and Fenneck looked down at Jasna to see what to do. Jasna gave him a small shrug and started taking her clothes off. Alexei came over to Fenneck, "Hey." He said quietly, so as to not disturb the mood of the people around them, "You don't have to stay if you don't want to." Alexei assured him, gently pressing on Fenneck's chest. "It'd be nice if you did though." Alexei gave him a longing look and Fenneck felt himself nod slowly as Alexei helped him undress. Rajyet came over, intimidating Fenneck even more so and offered his arm to Jasna. "I think we have some unfinished business to settle between you and my wife. It seems our night in Flottenheim with you wasn't enough for her. Or me for that matter." he told her seductively before leading her over to he and Neferu's corner of the room. Alexei led Fenneck over to a corner where Padma was now splayed out on the ground. Fenneck leaned over to Alexei, "Have you two had sex?!" He whispered, assuming everyone was told to wait with their thiramin. Alexei smiled, "We've done other things. There's no rule against that. Or having sex with other people." Alexei gave him a wink. Another male sun elf laid down next to Padma and kissed her. Fenneck swallowed. Alexei pulled Fenneck down next to his soon to be wife. Padma pulled away from the sun elf who continued to kiss her very strong, muscular back and smiled at Fenneck, "Alexei has told me about how wonderful you are in bed. Why don't you show me?" She said seductively. Fenneck, whose face was even redder than it was after traveling across the desert for two days straight in the beating sun, turned to Alexei who nodded at Fenneck to show her as he caressed Fenneck's skin. Fenneck was nervous at first but soon relaxed into the atmosphere and music and let himself go. It was a blur of skin, sweat and emotions but when they were finished Fenneck felt amazing. He laid there with Alexei and Padma and occasionally another elf or two for a while still kissing them blissfully. Eventually they stood and Padma led them across the hall to a large steaming bath where everyone was washing off and drinking wine and eating. The next couple months were spent partaking in such affairs, walks in the garden, shopping in the town, and long talks about politics with the different court members. On the nights they didn't host their orgy soirees, Fenneck would find himself spending the evenings with Alexei and Padma or finding other members of the court who were also in search of a fun evening. One night, Rajyet himself invited Fenneck into his chambers with himself and Neferu which Fenneck found extremely intimidating but well worth the stress it put him under. Needless to say, he just about made up for his one-hundred and twenty seven years of abstinence in about 2 months. On their last day there, Fenneck found himself disappointed to have to be heading home. He loved the escape and the different cultures here. He was excited to see Natalya though. He had a huge bundle of gifts and treats for her at this point and he hoped she had been okay this winter with him so far away. He was especially sad to leave Alexei and Padma whom he had grown quite fond of. He was happy for Alexei. He had never seen him so happy and energetic before. Sivania fit him surprisingly well. Fenneck also couldn't deny the happiness this new land brought to him and he felt annoyed that he was starting to enjoy the new parts of their country. After they said their goodbyes he and Jasna started their long journey home. Once they got to Flottenheim, Fenneck gave a quick visit to Naertho to impart his gifts and then after a day of rest and filling Baegla in on he and Jasna's adventure, he headed into the mountains.
