Fendir is born to Lev and Fenneck

Natalya softly woke from her meditation. Fendir squirmed excitedly inside her and she knew he was ready to meet them. She gently prodded Fenneck who was sitting against her meditating. He opened his eyes and smiled at her. "He's coming." She said feeling both nervous and excited. Fenneck jolted up. "Really?" he exclaimed gently touching her round belly. She nodded at him and smiled. Fendir was kicking around and she felt her body start to go into labor. It wasn't painful. It was intense though and Natalya had to focus on her breathing. "Should I go get Borea?' Fenneck asked her. Natalya didn't want Fenneck to leave and she shook her head. "Kotsik!" Fenneck shouted, waking the pseudodragon. Kotsik popped his head out of his nest tiredly and then excitedly flew down to Natalya and Fenneck. He started sniffing her belly and he licked it excitedly. "Go get Borea and tell her the baby is coming!" Fenneck told the dragon who protectively rubbed his head against Natalya's swollen belly, clearly reluctant to leave her. Natalya smiled at the little dragon. "I think I'll be okay, Fen," she told her husband who took her hand and squeezed it. He helped prop Natalya's back up with some pillows and she opened her legs in front of her. She felt Fendir's excitement and a few happy tears came into her eyes as Fenneck prepared to meet his son and make his wife comfortable. After a few intense moments Natalya pushed and felt the child start to leave her. After a few moments of this she sighed with relief as Fendir fell into his father's arms softly crying. Fenneck clutched the child to his chest and started crying with joy. Natalya's heart felt so full as she watched Fenneck admire their child as she caught her breath. "His name is Fendir," she finally told Fenneck who smiled softly at his wife before turning to the child. "Hello Fendir." His voice cracked from his happiness and Natalya smiled never having seen Fenneck so happy in all the years she'd known him. "Are you okay?" he finally ask Natalya who nodded and smiled at him. He scooted over next to her and gently placed Fendir into her arms. The baby had stopped crying and was studying his mother and father intensely. He had green eyes and a head of fuzzy blonde hair already. Natalya had never loved anything as much as she loved Fendir. He softly cooed up at his parents, and Fenneck nuzzled Natalya with happiness. "Thank you so much my love." He told her passionately. She nuzzled him back and they kissed for a moment before turning back to their son. Kotsik climbed onto Natalya's shoulder to get a better look at Fendir who excitedly reached for the dragon. Kotsik wagged his tail excitedly and leaned his head down to Fendir who gently batted the dragon's face. Natalya smiled and curled into Fenneck's loving arms. They laid there for a while enjoying this beautiful moment before Fenneck asked Kotsik again to retrieve Borea and to tell Killion. He and the dragon shared a look and Natalya knew they were communicating telepathically. Finally the dragon licked Fendir's forehead causing Fendir to giggle excitedly and flew toward the door out his little dragon flap. After a few moments, Borea came up and checked on Natalya and the baby but everyone was perfectly healthy. When Borea was finishing there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Fenneck said, excited to show off his son. They had cleaned the blankets and Fendir was now swaddled in a beautiful, green elvish baby blanket that had leaves embroidered into it. The door opened to reveal the Damakos clan. Killion was holding Kastella and Lenni had his hands on the other two tiefling children, Niko and Tihani. Niko excitedly ran over. Fenneck didn't stop him and instead held up Fendir so they could see him. "His name is Fendir." Fenneck said proudly. Lenni smiled at Natalya when they entered, "How are you doing? Everything went okay?" He asked her. Natalya smiled and nodded. Niko was excited, "Can I touch him?" He asked as Fendir's little hands reached up toward his face. Natalya nodded and Niko held out his little hand and Fendir latched onto one of his fingers. Killion leaned down and showed Kastella the baby. The toddler excitedly bounced in Killion's arms and reached out toward Fendir, "Baby!" She cooed excitedly. Killion kissed his daughters cheek proudly. "It is a baby! Isn't he cute?" He said sweetly to his own little girl. Kastella nodded excitedly and her little tail reached down and Fendir's tiny fingers grabbed it. "Ah!" She said startled. She pulled her tail out of Fendir's grasp causing the baby to start crying. "No no no!" She exclaimed swinging her tail back down so the baby wouldn't cry. Fendir found her tail again and cooed happily. Everyone giggled. "He looks like Fenneck. I wanted him to have red hair like Natalya and me." Tihani said annoyed. Fenneck laughed, "Maybe the next one!" "You're having another one already?!" Niko asked him excitedly. Natalya laughed, "Oh no! Not yet. We have to space them out a little bit!" Niko huffed and turned his attention back to the baby. "He's beautiful." Killion said smiling at Fenneck and Natalya. "Isn't he?" Fenneck said proudly. After a little while the Damakos family decided to leave and give the new parents some space. Kastella gently pulled her tail from Fendir's grasp, "Bye baby!" She said waving her little pink hands at Fendir. Niko managed to fist bump the newborn and Tihani leaned down and kissed its forehead gently. They left and Fenneck kissed Natalya excitedly. "I love you so much. He's so perfect isn't he?!" His voice was soft and full of joy. Natalya nodded, "His little hands are so cute!" She said half to Fenneck and half to the little child. They baby-talked with their little baby in elvish for a bit and admired him. After a few moments they heard another knock at the door. "Come in!" Fenneck said again. Dimitri slowly opened the door and Kotsik flew over to Natalya's shoulder and started studying Fendir again. "Would you like to meet him?" Fenneck asked Dimitri. Dimitri cautiously nodded and walked over to the new parents. Natalya smiled at him as he sat down on the other side of her. Fenneck held out Fendir to Dimitri who hesitantly took the small child. Natalya felt a tear slide down her cheek from happiness at seeing Dimitri here, safe with them, holding her child. She felt Fenneck's hand rub her back gently. Dimitri smiled at Fendir, "He's beautiful." He said softly. "His name is Fendir." Natalya said. Dimitri smiled at this, "It's a good name. He looks just like you." He said to Fenneck. Fenneck smiled, "He has Natalya's eyes though. They're warmer than mine." Dimitri nodded and smiled, "I'm so happy for you both." He told them as he made eye contact with Natalya. She smiled at him, "I'm so glad you get to meet him." She couldn't hide the crack in her voice. She was so grateful that after all this time Dimitri was still with them. He gently gave Fendir back to Fenneck. "Thank you. I'm sure I'll have more time to meet him later. I'll let you both have some privacy." He said standing. He leaned over and kissed Natalya on the forehead. "Thank you for coming." She told him gratefully. He nodded and left, smiling once more at the happy family before closing the door behind him. "Thank you." She said to Fenneck. He looked up at her and shook his head, "Of course, he's just as much a part of your family as I am." Natalya started crying softly and Fenneck put Fendir back into her arms so he could hold her. He kissed her face, "It's okay love." He told her sweetly. "I'm just so happy." Natalya said sobbing and then laughing a little at how ridiculous she probably sounded. Fenneck smiled at her, tears in his own eyes, "Me too Nat. Me too." Fendir cooed up at them and they both looked down at their son, enamored by his presence. "You're just the cutest little thing aren't you?!" Natalya told him. Fendir smiled and giggled at her and reached his hand toward her face. She leaned down and he grabbed at her nose causing Fenneck and Natalya to giggle. "He's so perfect." Fenneck said admiringly. Natalya relaxed into Fenneck's arms and they spent the day getting to know Fendir.
