Evelyn starts to get wind of the power lust her family has and Nikolai almost kills Dmitri.
Nikolai dies and Evelyn suspects foul play from her mother. Mephistopheles visits Evelyn for the first time and she spends the night with Dmitri to hide from the devil.
Nikolai's funeral is going on and Ivan threatens Evelyn and tries to convince her to join his coup when he reveals he's her cousin. Anessen tells Evelyn that she should marry General Antov. Evelyn starts searching for answers about Mephistopheles and starts to feel lonely and scared as he continued to haunt her.
Ivan tricks Evelyn and she decides to gain back her relationship to Fenneck to escape her family problems and Mephistopheles.
Ivan deceives Evelyn and she tells him to stop his advances before deciding to get her relationship with Fenneck back now that he was moving out of his parents house.
Dmitri leaves Flottenheim to go back to Leniscow with his wife. Evelyn enjoys her secret new life with Fenneck.
Evelyn tries to abort her and Fenneck's child but Mephistopheles comes to her in rage. Corellon pulls her soul and the child's into Arvandor, killing her body in the process to save her from her torturous existence from the plaguing of Mephistopheles. She meets her son Fendir and Corellon says that because of her early, tragic demise he is going to send her soul back and promises that she'll be safe this time and she'll even see Fenneck and Jasna again and that Fendir will come back to her when the time is right.
Kapelya Petrov was born to Pyotr and Alina Petrov in 1869 on a farm in the Vallee of Flottenheim, Lenisily. Later that year her parents were murdered by the KAV and their farm was burned when it was discovered they were practicing magic to grow crops. The KAV soldier, Ivan Pufuktin, took the baby to be raised as a soldier for the KAV. The Voyennyy Academy named her Natalya Ivanov and raised her with extensive special training to turn her into a soldier.
Natalya and Gregory train together and decide to have sex before the showing where Gregory is chosen to join the military as a foot soldier on the front line to fight the Flottenheim rebels.
Natalya meets Dimitri, a KAV soldier know for being one of the strongest soldiers the KAV has. She is supposed to start training with him.
Natalya and Dimitri are sent to Flottenheim with two targets. Dimitri is after a high elf named Fenneck Frostears and Natalya is after a high elf named Erikur Oblonsky. They take two days to get into a forest just north of Flottenheim where they find them. Natalya successfully lures Erikur into a trap and stabs him fatally. Dimitri is not successful and ends up taking a volley of arrows in his side. Dimitri and Natalya manage to escape back into the mountains as Fenneck gets distracted by grief.
Natalya and Dimitri report to Pufuktin about their jobs to take care of two rangers in Flottenheim. Dimitri is punished for his failure. Natalya finds him and comforts him. They realize they have feelings for each other.
Natalya gets her first solo job assignment and her and Dimitri make love for the first time.
Natalya goes to the Krasnoye Fortress with Pufuktin and he rapes her for the last time before telling her Staladin wanted her the following evening. Natalya decides to put an end to the suffering in her life.
Natalya gets roped into tracking down a stolen medallion and ended up killing a demon before he could destroy the world.
In the mountains to the Northwest of Flottenheim Natalya encounters a ranger from Glitterfjell. When she see's him she knows he is her thiramin. His name is Fenneck and he recognizes her as the wood elf who killed Staladin. He thanks her for her sacrifice and convinces her to come to Flottenheim and meet Baegla. Natalya who did not grow up familiar with Elvish customs is untrusting of the feelings she has for Fenneck.
Natalya meets the great sorcerer Baegla in the palace of Flottenheim. She is an older halfling who loves to eat and it very friendly. Natalya find's her appearance funny considering the size of Baegla's reputation in Lenisily. Baegla asks Natalya to assist Fenneck in mapping out the north western mountain border of Glitterfjell with the goal of stopping KAV soldiers from sneaking through and to help refugees trying to escape Lenisily's tyranny.
Fenneck introduces Natalya to the wonders of Flottenheim during the Winter's Eve Ceremonial Festival. She see's the magical crops and the wonders that Glitterfjell is known for. Fenneck also explains the thiramin connection they feel for each other and it's significance in Elvish culture.
Natalya wakes up and watches the sunrise in Fenneck's arms the day after the Winter's Eve festival. They discuss their situation and decide to enjoy their time together and wait till the winter is over to make any decisions. Natalya spends the next few weeks enjoying Flottenheim and dreading her call to Lenisily to face her mistakes.
Natalya decides to go to Lenisily. She tells Fenneck about Dimitri. Fenneck and Natalya spend the evening together and he walks her to the mountains the next morning. He hides his heart break and refuses to kiss her, claiming their paths would cross again. He gives her an enchanted ring with two engraved foxes curled up together where a gem would be.
Natalya finally makes it to Lenisily and finds Dimitri. He is upset with her for what she did and blames her for Pufuktin's reign. She eventually tells him about Glitterfjell and her thiramin connection. When he finds out it was Fenneck he angrily tells Natalya to leave. She tries to convince him to help her stop Pufuktin but Dimitri tells her it's too dangerous and that he won't risk it. He also tells her to stay out of Lenisily's politics before she makes things even worse. Natalya retreats back into the mountains feeling defeated and guilty for all the pain she had caused not just Dimitri, or even Fenneck, but all of Lenisily.
Fenneck finds Natalya in the mountains and comforts her. They talk all night about the guilt and pain they're both wrestling with. They decide to try and make this work. They spend the next few weeks alone in the mountains together mapping out the terrain and finding the best route to and from Lenisily.
Natalya and Fenneck go back to Flottenheim in time for the Winter's Eve festival and to hunker down for the cold months. Jasna and Natalya start to become friends. Fenneck and Natalya get into a fight and Natalya tries to leave until Baegla convinces her to stay and give Fenneck a chance. Natalya finds Fenneck in her room devastated after realizing she left. She comforts him and they forgive each other.
Natalya meets Naertho. Natalya and Fenneck experience their second Winter's Eve Festival together and Fenneck opens up about his past.
Natalya lives alone in the bumblebear cave alone during the harsh winter. She devises a plan to face Pufuktin and to meet her end.
Natalya gets caught sneaking into Lenisily by Dimitri. They talk and make love that night and decide to help Dimitri's targets escape Lenisily through the mountains she had mapped out with Fenneck.
Natalya saves a wood elf family Dimitri was ordered to kill. She runs into Fenneck who helps her take the family to Flottenheim. They begin a new phase in their relationship as Natalya tries to make things work with Dimitri and Fenneck keeps Natalia at length, fearful of being hurt again. Over the years Natalya and Fenneck become good companions as they learn to work together and not force theramin.
Fenneck comes back to the mountains and tells Natalya the Glitterfjell has joined Thymryu and that Baegla made him a prince.
Fenneck arrives back from Flottenheim for the new year. He and Natalya catch up about how their relative winters went.
Natalya comes home to the bumblebear cave to see Fenneck has returned from his winter in Flottenheim. Natalya finally opens up to him about her abusive past. Fenneck nearly gets himself killed by a herd of sabretooth tigers and Natalya rescues him.
Natalya meets Dimitri at the border. He tells Natalya they shouldn't meet as frequently and he starts to pull away from her due to his old age and desire for her to be happy without him once he's gone. Natalya fights this and eventually leaves and goes back to the bumblebear cave where she tells Fenneck what happened. He consoles her and explains that that is what happened between Jasna and Baegla. Natalya fears her relationship with Dimitri is expiring.
Fenneck comes back to the mountains after spending the winter in Flottenheim. He has brought gifts and goodies back from the palace and he and Natalya catch up.
Natalya and Fenneck spend the evening talking and a storm hits causing them to spend the night wrapped in each other's arms to keep warm.
Fenneck walks in on Natalya bathing in the mountains and tried to convince her to come to Flottenheim for the winter.
Natalya and Fenneck head back into the mountains after spending the winter blissfully in each others arms in the safety and warmth of the palace of Flottenheim.
Natalya and Fenneck encounter a Yeti while trying to get two refugees Dimitri sent them to safety from the far west pass.
Natalya and Fenneck find a small elf child in the mountains. He is all alone and seems to be a different race than any other elves they've encountered before. They are unable to communicate with him and bring him back to Flottenheim with them.
Natalya meets Dimitri and tells him Fenneck is to be the next Lord of Glitterfjell. Dimitri tells her to watch their backs and warns her of a Lenisily agent in Zeitdrache's court. He also tells her that Pufuktin does not fear Fenneck, but that he might fear her and she should use her reputation to protect Fenneck.
Natalya comes home from the mountains to spend the winter with Fenneck in Flottenheim. He has been stressed and busy with his new duties. They volunteer to babysit Tihani and Niko.
Natalya accompanies Fenneck and the court of Glitterfjell to the Brindellis Arts Festival as his fiancé. It is long week of events, meetings, music, alcohol, dancing and frilly dresses. Most of which Natalya tries not to hate too much. They face their new lives as political leaders in Thymryu.
Natalya meets Dimitri to retrieve a family of half-elf refugees. They had been mixed up with a progressive political faction in Lenisily and they are very frightened for their future. Natalya and Dimitri catch up after not seeing each other for almost a year.
Natalya decides to take a refugee family to Arrallath only six months before her and Fenneck's wedding day. She tells Fenneck about the pull to Arrallath she's been feeling realizing how monumental the last thirty years of her life had been. She tells him she needs to do this before the wedding and Fenneck allows her to leave.
Natalya leaves Flottenheim to take a family of refugees into Arrallath. She and Fenneck say goodbye and she goes back to Arrallath.
Natalya runs into Nerlureel and his son Tarin. They chat and then Natalya feels a pickpocket steal Fenneck's ring from her finger. She moves to chase down the thief and she, Nerlureel and his son end up on a ferry headed for Sivania.
Natalya, Nerlureel, Tarin, Fuqwigt, Almyr, Kai, and Tebi arrive in Lord Rayjet's palace and are arrested by a judge for the murder of King Zeitdrache after seeing a sightstone reveal a vision of them breaking into the palace and Natalya stabbing the king from behind. Kai teleports them out of the city, into the desert.
Natalya and the rest of the party find themselves in the desert where they wander around until they all pass out from heat exhaustion and confusion. They wake up to find themselves in a brass dragon's lair feeling well rested. The dragon introduces himself as Ukris and asks them for help retrieving a magical candle for a dragon he admires from the blue dragon Sethrekar's liar. He also informs them that the chromatic dragons have been meeting suspiciously. They agree to help him.
Natalya, Nerlureel, Tarin, Fuqwigt, and Almyr get dropped off in front of the entrance to Sethrekar's lair. They meet a friendly pseudodragon who takes a liking to Natalya. They explore the depths of the lair and Tarin finds a magical sword. They also awaken a giant suit of armor that scares Sethrekar away and chases the party out of the lair. Luckily Ukris finds them and they escape. The pseudodragon escapes with them, clinging to Natalya. She names him Kotsik.
Ukris brings the party to Breezehaven to help them freshen up supplies. They decide to head to Sivania to find Kai and Tebi who were last seen in Breezehaven on the road to Sivania. They bought a carriage and some horses and started the journey to Sivania. Disguised and on the road they encounter a ranger who claims to be a bounty hunter looking for the murderers of King Zeitdrache. They learn that Kai and Tebi have been captured in Sivania. They luckily get by without being caught and end up in Sivania where they make a plan to sneak in and rescue Kai and Tebi.
Natalya disguises Tarin as the Lone Wanderer and he pretends to have captured Nerlureel, Almyr and Fuqwigt to sneak into the prison and possibly get the million dollar bounty on their heads. Natalya sneaks in with Kotsik a few moments after they've left to help them escape. They manage to escape and end up frantically riding off toward Gladeon after getting away from the soldiers.
Natalya and the party encounter a group of thieves guild members accompanied by a devil attacking a dwarf male and a half-orc woman. They fight them off and get some interesting information from a thieves guild member that leads them to believe there is some kind of conspiracy between the dragons and the thieves guild. They push on toward Gladeon.
The party arrives in Gladeon where they meet the race of Swamp Elves and their matriarch. They rest there and agree to help them with a monster that has been attacking their children. The find a giant frog-like creature and they manage to kill it and save the child. They rest before venturing deeper into the swamp to find the source of the witchcraft and the stolen children.
The party find the Black Dragon's Lair in Gladeon and they enter to discover more information about the thieves guild and the dragons. They also find the missing swamp children and they destroy a hag who tried to deceive them. They manage to save the children but only barely make it out of the temple as the suit of armor from Sethrekar's lair shows up and chases them. When they make it through the exit, Nerlureel's wedding ring starts to glow brightly and the temple collapses in on itself.
The party rests in Gladeon and visits with the matriarch after returning the children safely. They leave and head north toward Brindellis in search of more answers and more dragon temples.
They party encounters Aelarad, the moon elf Natalya and Nerlureel had briefly met on their adventures in Arrallath, fighting a group of goblins. They help him and he tells them that Brindellis has been captured by the thieves guild. He takes them to a hidden outpost where they devise a plan to help save Mr. D in the southern half of the city. Natalya starts to worry about Flottenheim and Fenneck.
Natalya and the party execute their plan to save Mr. D and disrupt the thieves guild. They save the samurai tiefling Hideo and finally meet the source of their problems, the Mage of Shadows. Luckily Natalya is able to get to Mr. D and they release an army on the thieves guild and successfully take back southern Brindellis. They rest in the palace for the evening. Natalya stays in the room she had Fenneck stayed in almost a year before when they had enjoyed the arts festival together.
As the party leaves Brindellis they stop by some shops for some warm gear and they stumble into Mimics and Gimmicks. Natalya is amused at Tarin's ignorance and eventually they head out toward a supposed ferry that will get them across the river and into Glitterfjell. After a few hours they notice the world around them shift and become dark and mysterious. They encounter the Mage of Shadows again who accuses Natalya and Nerlureel of a bad moral compass for their ignorance in Arrallath. Tarin and Nerlureel feel tension arise between them as Tarin agrees with the Mage of Shadows. The Mage also threatens Natalya about Flottenheim. Eventually he vanishes and a wounded dragon deceives them into healing him before attacking them. They manage to defeat the beast and send him running only after he nearly killed three of them. They meet an old man who builds a magical ferry for them while they rest.
As the party wakes up from their rest they find a ferry waiting to take their carriage over the river toward Glitterfjell. They are attacked first by the bounty hunter The Lone Wanderer. Natalya manages to steal his bow and they decide to capture him and take him into Glitterfjell with them.
The party finally hit the outskirts on Glitterfjell and started their ascent into the mountains. As they climb the weather become harsh with a hard thunderstorm and a pelting rain. They hear a strange thunder in the distance. They reach the first check point and are let into the fiefdom. Natalya becomes fearful from the guards reaction to seeing her. She tries to scout ahead in the difficult terrain and is attacked by a pack of wolves they finally manage to beat most of them down when the remaining three turned into big, blood hounds. Natalya is bitten in the arm and is poisoned by some disgusting form of dark magic. They finally defeat the beasts and are greeted by the Winter Wolf himself. They continue on till the next check point where a guard recognizes Natalya and hides the party in the stables. She tries to convince him to arrest them but he refuses and forces them to rest for the evening. Natalya doesn't rest well as she worries about Fenneck and the rest of her family. It's a very long night.
The party continues through the mountains and they encounter a merchant couple who they assist with a broken wagon from the storm. They finally make it to the next check point and agree to let Natalya turn them over to Baegla. They shackle them and put them in a prison carriage and cart them toward the city. When they finally come into view of the palace they see a storm giant climbing up the palace and step onto the great skyway. He points at them and says to find his kin to help them on their quest. He then vanishes with a crack of lightening. They continue on up to the palace and Killion opens the door to the carriage. He avoids Natalya's eyes as he leads them into the palace.
The party finally arrives in Flottenheim where Baegla questions them and reads their minds before deciding their innocents. They sit down to eat and Baegla tells Natalya that Fenneck has gone into the western mountains to find the white dragon who has been plaguing Niko's dreams. They fill each other in on everything that has been happening.
They arrive at the Temple and rest next to a makeshift fire in the foyer of the dungeon.
Natalya and the gang explore the white dragon lair and see the aboleth, fight some kobalds, solve some puzzles, meet a salamder and fight the Mage of Shadows and save Fenneck.
Fenneck and Natalya catch each other up on what has been happening over the last month they've been apart. Kotsik knocks an ancient white dragon unconscious and it's fucking amazing.
