In the ancient land of Nixxia, dragons ruled the skies and the earth with unparalleled might and majesty. They were creatures of immense power, feared and revered by all other beings. Among them, five dragons stood apart from the rest, each possessing unique abilities that set them on a path of destiny. Known then as Boksul, Rovahlok, Shaan, Sil'lah, and Vulhahnu, these five dragons were destined for a fate that would reshape the world forever.
The legend begins in the heart of Lotkrosis, a land teeming with vibrant life and arcane energies. Vulhahnu, the Seer, had long been plagued by visions of a cataclysmic event that would bring about a new order. He saw a world where the dragons would rise above their mortal forms and attain godhood, wielding powers that would dwarf even those of their mighty ancestors, the Ruuth'Sunvaar. Driven by these visions, Vulhahnu sought out the other four, sharing with them the promise of nearly unlimited power and eternal dominion.
Boksul, the Chronicler, was fascinated by the potential to weave time itself, to record and alter the fabric of reality. Rovahlok, the Serene, yearned for a harmony that transcended the material plane, a perfect balance in the cosmos. Shaan, the Artist, saw an opportunity to create and inspire on a divine scale, crafting beauty and wonder beyond imagination. Sil'lah, the Elementist, craved the raw, elemental power to shape and command the forces of nature. Together, they were convinced by Vulhahnu's vision, and thus, the pact was made.
On the night of the cataclysm, the skies over Lotkrosis turned a deep, foreboding red. The five dragons gathered at the peak of Mount Drakorys, the highest and most sacred mountain in the land. There, they performed an ancient and forbidden ritual, drawing upon the very essence of the world. The ground trembled, the air crackled with energy, and a torrent of magical force surged through them.
As the ritual reached its climax, the raw power they unleashed tore through the fabric of reality. Lotkrosis was engulfed in a violent upheaval, its once lush landscapes twisted into a hostile, barren wasteland. The immense energy obliterated most of their species, leaving only a handful of dragons alive. These survivors were irrevocably changed, transformed into the first Dovagoraan, a new breed of dragon bound to serve the newly ascended Dragon Gods.
Boksul emerged as Rahboksul, the Time-Weaver, a master of temporal magic who could bend time to his will. Rovahlok became Rahrovalok, the Harmonic Nexus, a deity of perfect balance and resonance. Shaan ascended as Rahshaan, the Divine Muse, the ultimate source of artistic inspiration and creativity. Sil'lah transformed into Rahsil'lah, the Elemental Tempest, wielding the raw forces of nature with unmatched fury. And Vulhahnu, the leader of their ascension, became Rahvulhahnu, the Abyssal Dreamer, a god of dark visions and dreams, guiding the others with his prophetic insights.
Now, as Dragon Gods, they held dominion over the Dovagoraan, their once fellow dragons now their devoted subjects. However, their newfound godhood was not without challenges. They found themselves in constant conflict with other pantheons, including the powerful Elvish Gods who sought to protect their own dominion over Nixxia. The continent of Lotkrosis, forever altered by the cataclysm, stood as a testament to their power and the price of their ambition.
