Draconians
Basic Information
Anatomy
A draconian shares most of their features with a non-elemental human being, with two key differences. They have large horns sprouting from their heads, generally based upon the region from which they originated, and large, leathery wings that resemble that of, well, a dragon.
Biological Traits
Draconians have "regional variants", each has different characteristics that relate to their environment. Arosian draconians are known for their traditionally dragonlike, curved horns the color of onyx, with dark skin and sandy-colored wings. The plains-dwelling Aeternean draconians have very jagged horns, and have developed an extreme resistance to electricity. Finally, the Iritian draconians, with sharp, angular horns and grand, sweeping, wings.
Behaviour
An interesting side effect of the draconians' ancestry is their intense love for shiny objects, particularly precious metals and jewels. While they don't have any hoarding behaviors, gold can be distracting. Many draconians are very outgoing and extroverted, often being expressive of their emotions or thoughts towards others. Most enjoy more lively, chaotic atmospheres, and socialize with others often.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Draconians most notably originate from the Revien continent/archipelago, as the dragon from which they originated held dominion over a large portion of that landmass. While they have spread out from their source continent, Revien still remains as the largest concentration of draconians in the world.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The draconians actually have a curious extrasensory ability that allows them to differentiate between precious and base metals. This leads to many draconians either working for or as jewelers to determine both the value and legitimacy of some objects.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Aside from the obvious horns and wings, the closest link that draconians have with their beastly roots is the jewelry that they wear. Across the world, every draconian wears a single piece of jewelry that is practically bound to them, usually indicative of their self-expression and style. Draconian masks are very reflective of their beastly ancestors, commonly taking form of a dragon's face, snout, and sometimes even horns. The colors are very vibrant, matching the expressive style of the dragonborn people.
