Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.— Roy T. Bennett
Well, the time has come for The World Anvil Worldbuilding Awards 2024. An annual event to celebrate the worldbuilding of the anvilites and allow anvilities to celebrate with each other their successess over the various years that they've been part of the World Anvil community.

Articles, Worlds, Timelines, and Maps
My goal for this year was to enter a few of my articles that I'm most proud of and this world (Nonvyrox) to the categories. Partially to put my name out there, partially to also hope that something might happen regarding the awards. Hopefully you all like my entries to the awards and even want to give some feedback about them in the comments. I also expect that some people are just spending all their days reading different articles. So, even if you are just spending some time looking around, Welcome!
Most Beautiful World
My Entry
My primary world, Nonvyrox has been a labour of love for the last few years and is my first attempt at a professional setting. I've tried to craft its design to be focused around its magical nature with purples and greys as a focal colour.
Other Entries
Heart and Minds
My Entry
A character written for a novel that I'm working on set within the world of Nonvyrox.
For Heart and Minds: This focuses on the inherent nature of magic and a personal perspective on the madness of some individuals with arcane ambitions.
Other Entries
Rise of Nations
My Entry
A language constructed of both Common and Elvish dialects together. A Language created to allow for the flourishing of trade within Kyradon.
For Rise of Nations: The Language was key to the development of Kyradon and its multiple city states.
Other Entries
Wondrous Nature
My Entry
A strange and large amphibian who has a few regional variants that are prominenet at various points.
For Wondrous Nature: The frog is one of the many examples of the types of creature in the world.
Other Entries
Strength & Honour
My Entry
One of the two non-Nonvyrox articles. The Marine Civil War is a prominent and harrowing event that defined several of the horrific elements within the world of Emore.
For Strength & Honour: This is a description of a large conflict in the world of Emore and specifically highlights the breakdown of a governmental system.
Other Entries
Pillars of Progress
My Entry
This is an article I'm immensely proud of. Manomancy is a huge part of my world in that its one of the few new forms of magic. As a result it took a significant amount of time and still needs work to compelte it.
For Pillars of Progress: The development and understanding of Manomancy has allowed magic-users to develop a greater understanding of the world that surrounded them.
Other Entries
Myths & Legends
My Entry
The other Emore article. Weird and Magick demonstrate the mythologised origins of magic and the force known as Weird in the world of Emore. One of my greatest articles from Summercamp 2023
For Myths & Legends: Many people in the world of Emore dont know that the Weird exists. Additionally, the origin of both forces is mythologised even by those aware of its existence.

The last 12 months have been a crazy train of personal growth and strife. Regardless, My goal was to submit something to be proud of my own work. I think that I'm in a good standing to "sweep the awards" next year, especially after seeing some more of the great work by new and returning Anvilities. I will be spending my time reading and selecting my own votes, I'm not voting for myself because that seems unfair.
I wish all the best luck to the rest of the participants and look forward to seeing both the shortlist and the winners!
Oh wow, thank you so much for all those features!! <33 I wish you the best in the awards :D
How could I not feature some amazing work!
