Thundertree
This ruined city was devastated when the Ash Mounts to the west erupted. The reddish ash which fell on the city killed most of the inhabitants. The slain people then rose as violent zombies, causing the survivors to flee for their lives.
Before the eruption, Thundertree was a rapidly-growing city. It's primary industry was the processing of thundertree wood into strong, light, and durable lumber. The secrets of how to process thundertree wood were lost when the city was destroyed.
The ruins were later used as the lair of the evil druid Reidoth . Reidoth was defeated by the adventuring party known as The Scurry.
