The Nordic Coalition
The Nordic Coalition is a political faction that was established at the very founding of the nation of Norden. As Norden formed the 20th of July 2131, it was ruled that a new political system would take form within three months. When these three months came to an end, a merged government of all the old nations had been created by former leaders, and a first set of political factions in Norden was presented. Amongst them were the Nordic Coalition, founded the 20th of October 2131. The Nordic Coalitions founders were some of the previous nations leaders who all had important roles in the constitution of Norden. The faction's core values therefore was - and still is - unity and equal conditions and opportunities for all citizens, very much the same reasons that founded Norden. As the Deaf Pandemic took hold of the entire world, all that meant something was survival. Borders and politics created no safety, only obstacles. The curse vaccine was the single human need and far too few got a hold of it, due to humans being divided into separate nations. That's at least what the Nordic Coalitions political view stems from. They want to see a world where every individual is treated equally and nationalities or other types of human categories have no place.
The Nordic Coalition has always been one of the largest parties of Norden and has been representing the left wing. They believe in the importance of social equality and a united world rather than liberalism and nationalism. After winning the election in 2310, 5th of April 2314 they made the proposition of the Equal School Bill which would have a great impact on the nation. The Equal School Bill demanded that all should have the right to take part in elementary school in their mother language, which implied that hearers should have the right to be schooled in speech. The bill additionally suggested that hearer-only-schools should be allowed to be able to apply to the new equal school. This very bill got strong reactions. Hearers had pushed to be given more space in society simultaneously as their community had grown through the years, and were thankful that it finally had reached the parliament.
