Gnomes are rumored to have originated as the offspring between Dwarfs and Elves. Yet very little proof exist to certify this claim. Gnomes are common all over the world having formed their own societies and cultures.
Most Gnomes prefer a secluded live away from the centers of society close to nature. They have an inherent connection to the Fey, making them prone to the use of naturalistic magic.
