Arya Kinnis

Growing up well off with his family, he never understood the struggles of working hard and the term "each penny saved is a penny earned". He had a good education, lavish food, and a huge home with his parents and sister. Arya never truely understood the level of his privilege until he was sent away to a monastery to become a better person and a more refined weapon while his parents found him a suitable army to leave him to seeing as he was the eldest and also the only man of their children. While in the monastery, though, he slowly found his purpose in himself in a way that wasn't stuck up, becoming interested in an independant life (also transitioning from female to male). This, of course, lead to him meeting Carlos Santinalla and becoming involved in his adventuring and loving the idea of becoming known in cities and getting into schemes. This made his family (his father more specifically, his mom and sister just agrees with most things he say) ostracize him for not following their wishes. While his relationship with his father will forever be damaged, him and his mother have been trying to rebuild their relationship and his sister were never in too deep, so they have a pretty good relationship.
His family is very conservative with their practices and traditions, so Arya's defience will be seen as a tarnish on the family name. His Mom and Sister have a hard time respecting his choices but try to show their support in any way they can.
While at the Monastery, Arya met 2 people named Magnolia (Maggie) and Winifred (Winnie/Freddie) who ended up being his mentors. Winifred became his main mentor that he was closest too, and saw them as a parent that he could look up to. They are a bald human with a calm and cold voice that is your typical sensei type deal. They see the potential in everyone and thinks everyone in the world has good intentions and bad intentions, and its up to you to decide what side you let overpower you. Magnolia is Winifred's Wife, and she is a warm, motherly women with the ideals to protect everyone under her wing and let peace reign supreme. She believed hurting people is only neccessary in the most extreme contexts and if you are to hurt someone, it should be with the pretext that its out of defence and to protect others. She's also the person that did a lot of the cooking and cleaning, and often helped everyone that was behind in their training. Where Winifred was harsh, Magnolia was soft and made up for what her wife lacked in.

Personality Traits

Laid back and easy going, hes a scary-until-you-get-to-know-him type guy. typically quiet, but often a voice of reason when it comes to Carlos.

Ideals

"Family isnt everything and I am my own person." The freedom to go anywhere and everywhere and do anything and everything is the most important thing to him. To keep him and his group safe while journying all around the places he was unable to go is a close second, but they kind of tie into each other. Feels that people are able to do whatever they want as long as its not hurting anyone else and loves getting into mischief.
