The Caustic Fang

Valtorax was an old black Dragon that dwelt in the Hills of Shade.
Once, Valtorax was just an ordinary Dragon living in the Hills of Shade. However, one day he stumbled upon a strange, ancient artifact buried deep in the earth. It was a glowing orb that pulsed with an otherworldly energy.
Curious, Valtorax approached the orb and was suddenly enveloped in a blinding light. When the light faded, he felt a surge of power coursing through his body. He realized that the orb had granted him incredible magical abilities. His form grew strong beyond his years.
Over time, Valtorax became obsessed with increasing his power. He used his new magic to dominate and enslave other creatures in the Hills of Shade, forcing them to serve him and gather resources for him. He also sought out other sources of magical energy, such as ancient artifacts and ley lines, and consumed them to further enhance his abilities.
As his power grew, Valtorax became more and more dangerous. He began to demand tribute from nearby villages and towns, and anyone who refused was quickly punished. Soon, he had amassed a hoard of treasure and magic items beyond compare, and his name became feared throughout the land.
Despite the efforts of brave adventurers who sought to slay him, Valtorax continued to grow stronger and more powerful, thanks to his insatiable thirst for magical energy and his ruthless tactics. It seemed that nothing could stop him, until the Council of the Hills finally decided to take action and put an end to his reign of terror.
The Council of the Hills recruited the Fay Wanderers to slay Valtorax. They were successful and he was vanquished on February 22^nd, 5402.
