While the party travels to the crossroads in
Greater Faydark to meet
Sarowyn,
Roswyn heads to
Kelethin to pick up some gear and supplies.
Roswyn awakes and meets with the druid,
Kalarian Mistwalker. He is a
Wood Elf who looks warped by his druidic powers. He teleports her and Reed to the Faydark Rings and makes the half-day journey to
Kelethin with her. She learns that he was the druid guild master before his apprentice,
Kelolan, took it over. He spends most of his time in the
Plane of Knowledge doing work for the goddess
Tunare. His presence in
Kelethin brings guards to their knees in respect, something Roswyn has not yet seen from the wood elves.
After parting ways with
Kalarian,
Roswyn begins accomplishing her tasks; she first heads to
Linadian Mistwood to retrieve the magical items that she offered to craft for them.
Lina gives her Goggles of Night and Boots of Orcish Fury.
Roswyn hands over the 10 pounds of giant snake skin they recovered and asks if she can make something else with it.
Lina agrees and says she'll need a few more days.
Roswyn then heads to
Ueaas's potion shop to purchases some more healing and resistance potions. Before she heads anywhere else, she is summoned to the guild hall by
Maesyn.
When she arrives, she is greeted by
Maesyn and the woman they encountered on the 11th,
Briseis Au'Lune. Her intimidating presence causes quite a mood change in the guild hall, even among the usually laid back
Maesyn. She interrogates
Roswyn on her claims of seeing
Mayong Mistmoore. She also tells her that they believe the orcs are mustering an attack force to attack within a few weeks, so she brought a squad of high elves from
Felwithe to assist. However, the party has been summoned by King
Tearis Thex in
Felwithe and that they are to leave immediately. Unfortunately,
Roswyn is the only one in
Kelethin at the moment.
Briseis tells her that she will be leaving on October 5th, with or without the party.
Realizing she is on a timeline that she cannot make on foot,
Roswyn sets out to find
Kalarian Mistwalker in hopes that he is generous enough to expedite her travels once more. Oddly, she searches for him in several places to no avail before deciding to check the druid guild hall. Luckily,
Kalarian is there and more than happy to help her. They set off to rendezvous with the rest of the party.
