Personal history

He learned hunting and gathering from his parents but on his off time, he performed in team fights with his friend Ødger. On their first coming of age raid, Ødger made it to Valhalla. Although a natural archer on raids, he often still fights and wins in the pit fights with his friend new friend Saga who fought in secret and Ævar, although he fights in Ødger’s honor. Their rivals, Skarde, Troels, and Bo, recently took the fighting trophy in the pit fights. He has vowed to get it back. In recent years he has taken up the family businesses of hunting and gathering herbs and even picked up a hobby on his own, making his own mead. Many batches tend to be experimental with extra “qualities”. He often shows off and his renown in the pits lets him become the center of attention, which he uses to try and win favors with the ladies. He is a hopeless romantic who will try to make those ladies smile with his mead and his stories learned from his love of travel.

Rescue in the Night

Left the priest guild with Berghild after being confronted by her at night. Left and met Oscar.   She had ambushers and fighters ready to sneak into the castle to rescue our party members and find evidence of the kidnappings.   Trying to turn the guards to our side.   Stali drew a card from a deck that appeared before him. He fought an Avatar of Hel and won.   It scared the guards away with the fight but we decided to go through the back.   We spooked the horses and snuck in through the window and locked the guards out of the throne room.   Stali somehow opened the secret room behind the throne. We went down the secret stairs and opened a vault door to see the cultists fighting Liv and Saga.

The Cultist's Castle

Went back in town. Found a house that had been taken. Got jumped by bandits.   Went back in town to gather more information, went inside a church and got information about the cultists in the old castle.   Guards said to look out for Oscar the innocent who had tried to kidnap a noble.   Headed to old castle and got inside but failed to infiltrate further. Saga got a little bloodthirsty. The alarm sounded and we were surrounded. We ran but Saga and Liv were presumed captured, possibly dead.   After running, Ævar and I discussed plans and decided to go to the Priest's Guild.   We discussed allies with the High Priestess. Father of High Priestess Brighild was the chief of the Bear Clan. North exactly 2-3 day travel to the village of Fitjar, Delphin. Might be able to help us.   Guard Captain Erling. Told him about possible lead and we asked for help. Was very flippant, might be taking kickbacks or on cultists side.   Dane Moonweather (Thug) reconn'ed the castle and found a bunch of people than what it generally appeared. Will set meeting with Oscar at night. (Right and then a left out the North gate. Drop to left Knee.)   Royal guards might not have kickbacks. May take evidence.  

The Arrival

We received a vision from Loki, he sent us to stop the cultists that took residence near the capital. After 3 days of hunting for the village and several days of travel, we arrived in the capital. Meeting up with my foster brother, Ævar. He said he had the same vision, had been hunting down the people kidnapping the poor in the slums.   Got drunk with Brother.   Left town and got followed out to the forest. They left us alone.   We camped. Unevental night.

Post-Wedding Day

Morning Forage Log: 2 Doses of medicinal herbs.   Woman and husband found missing. Husband found mangled in ruins. Group gathered and followed the trail back into the underground ruins.   Ruins Forage Log: Medicinal Moss   Led to a mountain trail with more Bear Clan. Continued on trail after taking care of guards.   Afternoon Hunting: 1 rabbit 1 rabbit pelt.   Gave rabbit to Saga so she didn't come back empty handed. She owes me. Continued on path until we came upon mountain ruins with torches.   Entered a building filled with lever puzzles. Lever combinations raised the bridges. During the puzzles, Cousin Stali disappeared. We came upon a burning village with prisons chained up and the flayed face man performing some sort of blood ritual. After some banter he began siphoning something from the prisons with some kind of magicks. We tried to stop him but he somehow kept healing from our attacks and the prisoners were drained of their life essence.   After we finally defeated him, his followers sacrificed themselves on the alter in quick succession before we could react. We found survivors but as we went to leave, the world appeared to crack open and the Blood Cultist Leader resurrected so we ran. The world continued to crack open and ahead of us appeared a conqueror who named himself as Loki. He sent us away and erased our minds of the events leading up to meeting him.   We arrived back at the village and returned missing woman and other prisoners we freed.

Saga's Wedding

Morning Forage Log: 2 Plump rabbits. 2 rabbit pelts. Winter herbs. Mushrooms.   Wedding Gift given to Saga: Aphrodisiac Mead. Batch of experimental mead: Very strong and bad taste. (Consumed)   Party crashed by Bear clan. They were beaten back but escaped. We followed them but rising water levels in ruins had us return to town. Party resumed.
