When Captain Lionel stayed behind on Catia , he went the extra mile to build the Nova Babylon space station. Therefore, the other members who remained decided to crown him king of Nova Babylon.
He passed this title on to the rest of the family when he passed away.
Captain's younger sister married a Nomina. She founded the Novas with him.
Ever since Richard Lionel  had taken the crown. Not only is he trying to control the spaceship, but he is working with Johanes Nomina English to make the spaceship safer. Something the Fallen Engels don't help with.
