The Red Desert
A wide spanning desert region rich in culture and resources. The main city is Nh’tham; the city of gold. Whilst this city is open to trade, it’s people harbour dark secrets and no non-natives are allowed to live there. The people of Nh’tham are immune to sickness and are naturally muscular and tall. They also tend to not leave their homes, instead relying on trade partnerships with travellers to sell their good. Besides Nh’tham, there’s also Nh’heiren the city of night and Nh’Lyn the city of day, both of which worship their own deities and are fiercely loyal to the king of Nh’tham. Many small tribes live outside of the city worshiping their own small gods and are almost banished. They cannot live in any of the 3 cities but they can trade, participate in festivals and stay there temporarily. If someone from a tribe married someone from a city the couple will need to choose where to permanently stay; needing to choose one or the other. Your last name will always be your born rank followed by your birth city. Upon your coming of age or marriage (or specific reason) your last name can change. The king of Nh’tham is a Lamia called Khai’Na Unla tham.

The Red Desert
A wide spanning desert region rich in culture and resources, The Red Desert is named after its intense red sand, which is deep crimson in colour and is very dense. The red sand is known as “The Blood of Lokh Shava” and is used in trinkets, talismans and assorted items for worship. It is also common for Th’ahmin people, the people of The Red Desert to take this sand with them when they travel, as they believe they will not be far from home if they do.
