Genasi In Novus

Genasi are a rare species in Novus as few find themselves exposed to the sorts of experiences that would lead to the birth of a genasi. Many who are genasi now were not always -- the result of a magical rewriting of their essence. This happends to those who may be exposed to extreme fire in the Foundry District, survive, and find themsleves imbued with the essense of fire as a fire genasi. Those who live as genasi can pass their elemental affinity to their offspring.
