Humans in Novus

Humans a numerous race in Novus. There is no strong sense of racial identity for humans, lacking ethnic group compounds such as Dwarves or Gearforged do. Humans are found on every ring of the city and nearly every level of society. As they are shorter lived than many other races, Humans tend to be more brash and focused towards ideals of continuity or progress. Human aristocracy invest deeply in ensuring their titles are passed on to their children and human business owners look to the amassing of generational wealth. Human reconstructionists are also many of the driving members of reconstruction efforts.

The Riovelle family, the former royalty of Novus, were humans and ruled Novus from generation to generation until the fall.
