Paracausality

Paracausality is an esoteric school of scientific study, which is chiefly concerned with the paracausal domain known as "the Blink", among other things. Entities that adhere to paracausality stand in contrast to those that adhere to causality; that is, put simply, they do not obey the previously-assumed universal laws of cause and effect, nor do they strictly obey the laws of physics. Paracausal science was made possible only in the wake of the Deimos Event, using various Deimosian NHPs and the data collected during the disappearance and then reappearance of Deimos.
