Second Interest War

The Second Interest War is an ongoing conflict between Harrison Armory and the Karrakin Trade Baronies, beginning in 5019u after a flashpoint between HA and KTB proxies in the Dawnline Shore. Union administrators attempted to isolate the incident by shutting down the Shore's blinkgate; however, this only exacerbated the inevitable humanitarian crisis, a politically devastating move.
Union, split between the Second Distal War and this conflict, as well as a number of smaller conflicts on the Periphery, was also not able to leverage enough force to bring the conflict to a definitive close; as such, it quickly spiraled out of control, spreading to other systems and worlds where HA and the KTB had competing interests.
Persistent omninet rumors that a HA battlegroup used blinkspace tunneling technology to ferry a planet-killer bomb inside Kujargen, a Karrakin world in the Baronic Concern (or, possibly, other worlds; reports are still unclear), have yet to be confirmed.
