The Kinscourge
(a.k.a. Tyros the Deathbringer)
The Kinscourge (called Tyros the Deathbringer in his former life) is the final boss in The Black Keep.
Defeating him completes a Journey Step:
Defeat the Kinscourge
HP: 11830
Armor: 84
KB Defense ; 100
Base XP: 47520
Group: Boss
Temperament: Aggressive
Biomes: Snow
Location: The Black Keep
Drops: Bone, Heart of the Kinscourge, Tears of Two Races, Weathered Skull
Combat:
The Kinscourge is quite durable with a fairly low attack speed but fairly hard attacks. If he is fought at range, he has a special attack that seems magical in nature.
He has a range attack that for every use will slowly increase in range. If you do not kill Tyros fast enough, he will AOE the whole room (it takes about 30 minutes to an hour for him to AoE the whole room, so it should not be a problem for high levels, only low levels).
Trivia:
Tyros the Deathbringer was the half human, half giant son of The Priestking. He was raised a gladiator in The Arena, and was the first combatant to slay a dragon single-handedly. This dragon would later become the Undead Dragon. He pinned his reward for the fight, the Star of the Champion upon the body and had it buried in the sand. He lead the Giant-King's armies against the Lemurians, but fell in love with Telith and rebelled. - He killed his own father at the Mounds of the Dead and was cursed with eternal life. Losing his family to time and war has driven him mad.
His appearance and armor is based on the famous Frank Frazzeta painting “death dealer”. Frazzeta made a name for himself drawing art of Conan.
Notes:
His name is Tyros the Kinscourge in the Journey Step.
Not recommended for low level players, but worth it for high level players.
The Kinscourge drops the Tears of Two Races, one of the six Artifacts required to create the Keystone that can be used to remove the slave bracelet.
