Ager Returns Home

After several years, Ager returns home. Weary from his travels, he does not go traveling for several years.
Ager spent more time in Calda, planning and leading expeditions. Nearly all were focused on the Kashin Baya. Every recorded path that had met the Maka-Tho mist was checked and re-explored to see if they led into the lands beyond the mountains. Hundreds of such paths had been found in the past. For as long as there had been a Sable Hegemony there had been attempts to find a way through the mountains. It had even become part of the final test for the Royal Scout Auxiliary to attempt to find a new path through the mountains. Thousands of attempts, no sucesses. But with the mists gone, the Queen decided it was time to re-check every recorded attempt. It may be that one of them would reveal a way through the mountains, even if only a tiny pass that would let one man at a time through. After several years of leading such expeditions, Ager decided it was time to return home.
Home Again
Upon his return, Ager ordered his staff to throw a great party. A weekend of festival games and revelry before a grand ball that everyone in the area was invited to. When asked why he was spending so many of his shins on this, he laughed and said "I've been too far from home, and friends, and joy -- so I'm rectifying that state of affairs!" Curiously, Tashi was absent from these parties. Ager begged forgiveness from his friends for his wifes abscence. He told them that she had come down with a mild illness, but didn't wish to risk getting anyone else sick.
