Born to a Half Elf parents, Elara and D'vola Tratan, (tragically Elara was lost in childbirth) Despite never knowing her mother, Donaleis experienced a childhood filled with curiosity and a yearning to explore the world beyond the quiet town of Quil, where she grew up. It was evident from an early age that she possessed a unique gift—an innate connection to the natural world that surrounded her. Leaves would rustle when she walked by, animals seemed to approach her without fear, and plants thrived under her gentle touch.
At the age of 16, Donaleis embarked on a journey of self-discovery, leaving Quil to wander the vast wilderness that is Voss. Guided by a sense of duty to protect the natural balance and nurture the wild places she loved so dearly, she dedicated herself to the path of a druid and has developed a strong friendship with Lady Chantrelle whom she sees as a maternal figure in her life. Her travels took her through dense forests, across flowing rivers, and up towering mountain peaks, where she learned the ancient ways of the druids and honed her ability to harness the forces of nature.
During her travels, Donaleis encountered many fascinating creatures and diverse landscapes, each teaching her valuable lessons about the interconnectedness of all living things. She rescued injured animals, mediated conflicts between feuding forest spirits, and has even stood as a guardian against encroaching creatures from The Shadowlands. Her experiences deepened her appreciation for the delicate balance of the natural world and the importance of preserving it.
