Adabra Gwynn was a midwife, herbalist and apothecary from Taldirin. She was mostly known for restoring an old windmill on top Umbrage Hills and for her care for the first settlers in the reclaimed town.

Personal history
For most of her life, Adabra was a devoted priest of Nymm. She was a midwife while living in Navara and later opened a herbal and alchemy shop named. After her husband death in 1201, Adabra decided to leave the city and go on a final adventure in the Navaran eastern frontier. She settled near Taldirin, where she was the only one with healing capabilities.
In addition to her work as a midwife, the miners and field workers of Taldirin provide Adabra with plenty of work as a healer. She was happy to fill the a role. She began growing her own herbs while foraging and trading for what she can't grow. Eventually her windmill was also considered as the town's apothecary.
In her later years Gwyn began to delve into alchemy more seriously and was often found working deep into the night on making poultices, oils and healing supplies. She would refuse all coin payments from the local population, accepting only food or other useful gifts as payment.
Eventually, Gwyn proved to be crucial to the settlement well being. She was well liked by the Taldirian women, who found her service to be both caring and discreat. Gwyn was known as a kind and liberal woman, but also as fierce and uncompromising. The young lasses of Taldirin used to consult with her on their love interests, eventually bringing them to the windmill for Adabra to examine from afar through her window. According to some songs and poem revolving around the experience of bards in Taldirin she would come out with a broom a Flask of Epilepsy should the gentlemen pushed too far.
Adabra died at the age of 91, she left no known next of kin and was buried near her windmill. A local legend tells that her spirit is tied to the windmill, judging young lovers and deciding if they should stay together or break up. The windmill remains a popular hanging spot for the youth, and is considered an heritage site of the Archduchy of Taldir.
Intellectual Characteristics
Adabra takes her responsibilities very seriously. She is a stern and strong woman, that doesn't take nonsense and believes things when she sees them. While at first she might not seem to be friendly, she will go out of her way to help anyone who needs help, rest or healing.
