Banshees

Banshees in Nune are not undead monsters, but instead they are spirits sent by Niulla, the Banshee Queen to forewarn the coming death of a person. It is unknown what in particular causes a banshee to appear before some deaths and not before others, and the time before the death occurs varies from minutes to days. It is also reported that the banshee can appear before the one who will die, or before someone who will soon lose someone close to them.
