Brain Cylinder
These shiny cylinders are used to preserve extracted brains. Each cylinder is filled with a nutrient solution that sustains the brain within. The face of the cylinder has three small ports where other technology can be plugged in. Once a brain is inside the metal jar, it is connected to the computing device in the wall of its artificial skull.
When an optical lens is attached, the brain within can see very grainy, low-resolution images. Auditory input is usually flat and crackly, like an old phonograph. The only other technology function is an artificial voice box. The voice that emerges is monotone and synthetic and can be hard to understand. Without any of these sensory inputs and outputs, the brain will enter a sleep-state of insanity.
The brain must roll equal or under its INT. If successful, the brain remembers it's in a jar and will suffer 1D4 Sanity point damage. However, a failure will result in another long sleep.
As long as the brain remains inside the cylinder, it will remain alive as long as it would in a normal body.
