The Sufferers

The Sufferers are a considered a demicult that is enslaved by Ahmen-Thet. Compelled to worship the Pharaoh of Phages, the Sufferers are often afflicted by Pholocromagea; a mysterious disease that covers the victim's skin in pustules, causes bleeding from eyes and orifices, and drives the victim mad.
The Sufferers aren't necessarily an organization as much as they are a group of people who share the same medical condition. Many of them die, but those that survive experience tightening of the skin, causing it to split unnaturally into hieroglyphic shapes. These people come to praise the Pharaoh of Phages, as they believe they are being returned to their natural state. They seek to spread disease wherever they go.
In more modern interpretations, the Sufferers may appear to be completely normal and may even see their health apparently improve. They do, however, transmit all other conditions like a cough, spreading their repressed illnesses to those around them.
