Lava palace
Architecture
The lava palace or fortress is a humongous building made of black stone and stuff. It is surrounded by a lake of lava making wingless dragons have no access. The walls surrounding the fortress are incredibly tall and have long spikes on the top. The walls are connected to a dome that has a small gap in the center that is heavily guarded by soldiers. Inside the walls is the fort itself. All wealthy and royal dragons live inside it and there are huge sections for housing, shops, entertainment etc. There are two main enterences into the fort, the front and back enterance. Both extend as bridges. The back one is used for imports or exports or transporting materials. The front is for diplomacy or regular exit/enterance. The front one is usually kept open during the day and closed at night. During day, the bridge has guards stationed at points along it.
The lavaclaws have the most riches like gems, gold, platinum, silver, diamonds etc. So they stash it under the fortress in large banks.
Defenses
The outer edge of the walls are spiked and coloured red for intimidation purposes. The opening of the dome is protected by guards wearing full armour. The fortress walls are surrounded by a huge lava lake.
Tourism
Any tourist that dares visit will probably be burnt to a crisp either accidentally or intentially.
Some luckier tourists note that it constantly smells like sulfur and smoke.
