Scoria's war and Shadetrail's creation

Military action

Rogue deserter thieves unaffiliated with Queen Aubade raided and looted a small wealthy city on the outskirts of Queen Scoria's territory, killing some nobles and stealing artefacts in the process. Scoria, enraged, instantly declared war on the light dragons even though they rightfully denied the attack.

Scoria being brutal and malicious by nature thought of ways to cause the most damage to Aubade's kingdom. She was born with 5 enchantments in total and had 1 left by the time of the war. She began thinking of potential allies to help her. Void dragons were currently being marginalised and under strict control due to their deadly radiation. They were running low on resources and prey so Scoria decided to try use them against the light dragons in exchange for help. Through rumours she found out about a void dragon with no radiation powers. She quickly thought of a genius plan and invited this dragon to work with her. The void dragon called Half-life was brought in and Scoria demanded a drop of his blood to be collected. She then enchanted his and her blood to become a living dragon, part void and lava. This dragon, Shadetrail, would be 'programmed' to follow Scoria's every command and would be immortal, ruthless and practically invincible. Scoria would be in control of Shadetrail while she wears her horn rings. If she takes them off, Shadetrail gains control of his body. Her horn rings also contain Shadetrail's enchantment power that Scoria gave him, though she is currently in control of his power because she thinks he can't be trusted with it. Since Shadetrail isn’t a real dragon he simulates a dragon consciousness, having both Half-life's and Scoria's personality intertwined in him. His default personality is Scoria's due to him being controlled by her, his fake personality alters between the both if not in Scoria's control. Due to being part of both dragons, the real life counterparts also get affected mentally. They get strong emotions and visions from the parts of their soul inside Shadetrail.
