Anatomy

Lavaclaws, or lava dragons are a strong and large species of dragon. They have a very strong bite force suitable for crushing bone. They also have two pairs of thagomizers on their tail for impaling victims. However, being strong makes them slower in in-air attacks and running. Lavaclaws are the second strongest species capable of uprooting trees with their talons. They have the incredible ability of swimming in lava and being unharmed by any heat. Their scales are hot to the touch. They can spit lava from their jaws that they 'ate'. They tend to have smoke coming out of their nose/mouth when agitated.

Lavaclaws can live in extremely hot areas, even inside lava. They prefer deserts or living in or around lava or volcanos.

Lavaclaws tend to be relaxed and act laidback constantly (and hot-headed, no pun intended). They value loyalty to the max and weed out any traitors to the kingdom. History

Lavaclaws were always regarded as species that were never to be messed with. Other kingdoms were wary of them even before the time of Shadetrail.
